Description
Majini, which means ‘On The Water’ in Swahili, offers a choice of 3 fully-equipped self-catering cottages, all situated in a beautiful garden setting in the Constantia Valley, just 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town.
Enjoy easy access to the legendary Constantia Wine Route, 5* restaurants, Table Mountain, Cape Point, internationally-renowned Kirstenbosch Gardens, world class golf courses, the V & A Waterfront, and so much more!
Each cottage has full use of the extensive garden and pool, its own Weber braai and patio, sun loungers and umbrellas.
All cottages enjoy free WiFi, TV, Sound System, DSTV (full bouquet extra), on-site secure parking, personal safe, panel heaters, pool towels, regular servicing, and laundry facilities. Use of the small gym facilities in the main house can be arranged by appointment.
Suzy wants to make sure that you settle in quickly and complimentary provisions and a bottle of wine are provided to help you achieve just that! lounge and main bedroom open on to a large covered patio, from which you have a magnificent view of Elephant’s Eye, a feature of the Constantiaberg in the Table Mountain National Park. The Eye is actually a cave in the elephant-shaped mountain, just below its peak at over 900m.
The patio also overlooks the garden and pool area, and is next to Suzy’s herb garden - please feel free to help yourselves to fresh herbs. Hadeda has 2 bedrooms, one with queen-size bed, with separate bath, shower and loo, and one twin-bedded room with en suite shower/loo.
The light and airy open plan main room includes the fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area seating 6. The lounge has 2 large sofas and a wingback chair alongside the open log fire for those chillier evenings.
The patio, which also has a table and chairs for relaxed dining alfresco, overlooks the garden and pool area, with its large entertainment deck and boma fire. Retractable blinds will protect you if the wind gets up. A Weber braai, and sun loungers are provided on the patio.
The beautiful artwork in Hadeda is mostly by Suzy’s favorite wildlife artist, David Shepherd. Parking is adjacent to the cottage.
