Additional Location Information

Conway is an historic rural village (est. 1789), pop. 2,000, set in the Conway state forest. Miles and miles of hiking trails B&B; is near the village center, and is surrounded by hills, woods and meadows. it is quiet and serene and watching the sunset from my front porch is a great way to end the day.

In summer, the large village swimming pond is less than a 1/4 mile from the house. In winter, there is a skating rink just up the road, good cross country skiing just outside the door, and miles of well tended snowmobile trails. We are on the South River and near the Deerfield river for tubing, fishing and kayaking. White water rafting, downhill skiiing and zip lines are nearby. And, with Amherst, Northampton and Brattleboro just short drives away, there are good restaurants and grand music and handcraft/art venues. Many crafters and weavers with open studios in Conway and surrounding hill towns.

Parking not a problem, no public transportation.
