This villa is truly extraordinary and it suited our needs just perfect. This house is not for everyone. Its a very private location, but still a short drive to everything Coral Bay has to offer. There are four equal master suites and was ideal for our group of 4 couples. Everyone had enough privacy, yet there is plenty of room to come together as a group, to dine together, hang out by the pool together, etc... The kitchen is super well equipped and we did a lot of cooking and had great meals. The BBQ grill worked great as well.
The laundry works great and so did the grill. Bose sound system works well and the TV and Ipod dock were easy to use. The beds were comfy and the outdoor showers were neat. There is a donkey gate at the top of the driveway. Pool and hot tub area are sufficient and the view from this villa is unbelievable. The road to get to this villa is a little tricky but you get used to it and it is a blessing that the last part is paved. We are St John veterans and this by far has been our favorite place to stay. The only negative was that the beach chairs were all in lousy condition and quite rusted and broken.

270 degree views of water and a feeling that you are on the bow of a ship when staying in this lovely home. Pool, hot tub and a large deck allow you to spend all your time enjoying the view while indoor accommodations are excellent. Only drawback is long, bumpy ride to home but that is quickly forgotten once you arrive.

This is the best house we've rented yet (over the past 5 years) on St. John. The proximity to the village is great, just a 4 minute drive. The layout of the house perfectly takes advantage of the view and the breezes. The deck, pool, and hot tub are all wonderfully situated to enjoy the views of Coral Bay and Hurricane Hole. It is high enough on the hillside to afford wonderful views, but not so far up that it makes a long drive to town. The finishings and amenities in the house are all top-notch. Definitely our new most favorite place in Coral Bay!

We have been to St John 9 times, and have always been interested in the history surrounding the Fortsberg area of the island. When I discovered Estate Fortsberg online, I knew we had to rent it for our vacation. The villa is well equipped and comfortable for our group of 6. Perhaps the best thing about the villa is the view...you really feel that you are "on the water", even though you are several hundred feet above the sea. Four equal bedrooms with beautiful outdoor showers make this vila a good choice also. (one bedroom does have twin beds, making it a little less desirable)
We explored the ruins of the Fort on several occasions but the undergrowth made it impossible to find the canons that I'm told are still there.
The road is a little bumpy, but the location on the water, plus being a few minutes away from breakfast at the Donkey Diner made this villa a winner for us!

Our St. John experience started with beautiful weather and the realtor waiting for us at the dock with our rental car and the magic never diminished the entire week we were there! The service from Windspree was second to none as we were led to our incredible villa, Estate Fortsberg. Words cannot describe the beauty of the accomodations and the overall positive experience of our trip. We would very highly recommend Estate Fortsberg and Windspree Vacations.

The homes is incredible, the view is breath taking and the pool is perfect. We enjoyed the location since Coral Bay is always our choice spot. The villa is just enough off the beaten path that you never have any traffic or noise. The outdoor showers are prefect to remind you that you are in a tropical location. The only word of warning is that your ony neighbor will complain if you leave any outside lights on at night and don't play any music that can be heard outside at night. Sound carries and she will complain. Not really sure she is happy to have a neighbor. The villa makes up for that one drawback and is definitely worth the stay.

We will be back to this beautiful home, the outdoor living was perfect and the views were amazing. The driveway is rough but the home more than makes up for that! The outdoor showers, the nightly fallling stars - all just amazing and Coral Bay is so quiet and peaceful!
