Our three sons, their families, my husband and I all found Mahalo to be a great rental. It was the best equipped rental we ever experienced. The kitchen had everything down to an oyster shucker, crab crackers and rolling pins. There were even beach toys for the little ones.
Porches were many and well furnished. There was a hammock on the one outside the twin room and an old fashioned porch swing on the middle level porch.
All of the adults enjoyed having a private bath attached to our rooms and the older kids were happy to share the bunk room and have their own "living room." With the snack kitchen, they had their own space.
There was so much room one could get off by oneself when we tired of too much family.
The beds were very comfortable as was all of the furniture. I really enjoyed the reading loft as did a three year old grandson.
Having the pool on site was terrific, since the little ones were happier there than on the beach. We were in it several times per day. The hot tub was wonderful as well.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like except for the "Duck crawl." We were not prepared for the snail pace of the traffic on the day of the arrival. We were in multiple vehicles and the one with the infant arrived first. Beach Realty with whom I had dealt, talked to me by phone and allowed those members of the family into the property.
Beach Realty was wonderful in all of our dealings. When another property we wanted to rent turned out not to be available, they recommended Mahalo. They were incredibly helpful every step of the way.
If I could have one thing it would be one screened porch as a outdoor refuge in the rain.

House was perfect for our needs. Three familes on three floors with every bedroom having a bathroom. A kitchen well equipped for a large group. Spacious living room and decks. The pool was large and very clean. Easy walk to the beach. One car took all the beach stuff to the parking lot and the rest of us walked maybe 10 minutes to the beautiful white sandy beach. The a/C broke down on the 2nd day. One phone call and the repairman showed up in 3 hours and fixed it in 1 hour -no problem. With three floors there are a lot of stairs in the house, no problem unless you have difficulty with steps.

The house was nice but the floors were filthy. The master bedroom was the only vaccuumed room and it was done poorly. We also paid for towels that never arrived. Spoke to Brook and then left two follow up messages. Finally spoke with them on Tuesday and got the towels at noon (no compensation).
