“Bliss on the Beach!” We were immediately blown away by the unit! It looked even better than the online thumbnails, and that is saying something! Gorgeous views, surfers in the waves, beautiful sunsets!Place is spotless, and roomy! We would suggest a guest book be left in the unit, for visitors to leave remarks and recommendations for future guests. Would suggest they stock a few extra bed pillows, and trash bags, as both were not available. Management was super helpful with great customer service. Let them arrange tours, they know the best local outfits. We also recommend having them provision your place, if, like us, you arrive in the evening. Next morning, we were able to enjoy breakfast on our lovely deck! You might consider not renting a car from San jose. We did, but it was expensive. We could have made use of local options and saved money as well. Also, in CR, the roads are not well marked.If you rent a car, the GPS is well worth the extra $. Don't want to forget the beautiful pool on site, as well as the beach just steps away from the pool area. They made this location superior to any others.

“Near the Beach = fun!” i had a great time with my stay in Costa rica being right by the beach and having the pool right outside. The pool is gorgeous and always warm for late night swims! I am looking Forward for planning my next trip here!

“just as advertised” This is really a wonderful condo, just as advertised it had everything to offer. It is very clean inside and is quite cozy. The location as well is great, just a few mins from town and a quick walk to the beach. I would recommend this place to my friends and plan on returning one day. Thankyou for s a lovely stay. cheryl

“Wow!!!” My stay at Serendos de Paz in Villa Cocobolo was perfect. The staff was amazing and very helpful and catered to our every need. The location in Manzanillo was awesome as well, peaceful and quite and close enough to town for a little night life, but not too close. Villa Cocobolo was awesome, perfect for our needs and everything we needed to be self sufficient. The view and the jungle and wildlife was incredible. The Howler monkeys came buy the villa everyday at the same time and the green parrots joined us every morning for coffee. It was perfect, the whole experience.

“Costa Rican Paradise” We stayed here for 8 nights to attend a friend's wedding at the nearby Westin resort. We are so glad we chose this route instead of staying in one of the bigger hotels. It was peaceful, accommodating, clean and gave us a real taste of Costa Rica. The locals were wonderful and the nearby beach and few restaurants in the area, is all you need to enjoy your own piece of paradise.

“Our trip was awesome” Our stay at Vista Hermosa was amazing. We had a fantastic time the weather was perfect the people were so friendly. The views were spectacular. There was tons of wildlife all around us, the sounds of the howler monkeys and the birds was so interesting. The house was beautiful everything one need was there. We felt like we were the only ones on the peninsula it was perfect not crowed loved being on the beach by ourselves with the iguanas, pelicans and the monkeys. The beach club was perfect and the food and service was great. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

“The Best of Costa Rica!” This was my second visit to Villa Encantada! After the first visit in 2010, my daughter decided this was the place to get married! We returned with a group of 30+. The bridal party(14) stayed at the Villa and Glenn helped to place the rest of us in properties close by, including his sister's house up the hill. The whole event could not have been better! Let me say that Glenn is a great guy and incredible host! If you want to experience the best of Costa Rica, stay with Glenn at the Villa! The grounds are as beautiful as the pictures indicate and you can be entertained right on the property. The Tabacon Lodge and Skywalk at Volcanoes National Park are under one hour drive. Shopping and dining in Nuevo Arenal has a true Tico feel and much better than dealing with the big tourist towns. Pura Vida! Thank you Glenn!

“Morales Family” Our stay at Daphne's condo was comfortable, pleasant, and memorable! The condo is nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The location offers quick access to pool area and beautiful scenic view from balcony. The Conchal Resort offers excellent shuttle service to all areas within resort property and staff is very friendly. Daphne was very helpful in providing information and travel tips. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next year. Thank you Daphne!

“Beautiful place ... great vacation time and excellent location” The place is just amazing, fully equipped, nice bedrooms, the pool is very clean, I spent some days with my family in this 2 bedroom condo and we had a great time, highly recommended for family or friends. The location is just great, front beach entry and near of good restaurants and downtown Jaco. Michelle is great, she was always in communication with us, thanks for this amazing time , definitely we´ll stay again.

“Most amazing Vacation!” The Condo is located in the heart of Jaco. Very clean and spacious accommodation. Stunning views of the ocean front. Beautiful pool right in front of the ocean. Management was super helpful and allowed me to experience all the great activities of Costa Rica without any hassle. My vacation wouldn't have been the same without the help of Best In Jaco and the luxury of this amazing condo!!

“Wonderful. Relaxing.” This penthouse rental was better than expected. The photos do not do the space justice. I recently (Aug '13) traveled with a group of 9 everyone felt quite comfortable. We enjoyed having goregous views of the sunrise and beach.Phil and Evelyn were very accomodating in the planning process (nine people=tons of questions) they were extremely helpful and we greatly appreciated that. The rooms were a perfect size (even with three of us sharing a room, we did not feel as if we were on top of each other). The location is perfect; close to just about any and everything you could need while staying in Jaco, transportation/bus stop, supermarket, restaurants, and drug stores. Not to mention the apt is equipped with plenty to make you feel right at home. We did take a ride to Herradura beach (the sand was a bit softer than the sand on Jaco beach) which was no more than ten minutes but enjoyed the pool nearly every morning. The staff at Daystar were very friendly and helpful as well. In inquiring about certain activities, the ladies were very candid and spared us disappointment. I highly reccommend this unit.

“Wow! You'll love the Red Sunset!” Are you looking for a luxury guesthouse near Lake Arenal and Arenal Volcano? If so, look no further and book yourself into the Red Sunset. My husband and I, along with six friends, spent a week in March there. We are so glad we did! We found the accommodations to be everything they were advertised and more. The views are amazing and the house, pool house and grounds will give you plenty of opportunities to relax and explore. While the guesthouse is excellent, the very best feature is the owner/operator Patrick. Patrick met with us each day to help us plan activities and make reservations with the best tour operators. His local knowledge and recommendations were spot on each day, and his help was invaluable. The breakfast provided each morning was a highlight unto itself. Come prepared to eat well – you won’t be disappointed. We’ve never had meals of this quality at similar style lodgings. We also took advantage of the optional evening Chef services. While there were several great places to eat in the Lake Arenal area, all of which were recommended to us by Patrick, you won’t beat the meals prepared by Patrick and his wife. Our favorite was the Chicken Parmesan – sorry, Mom, but it was the best we’ve had anywhere! The Red Sunset was the perfect place for our Costa Rica vacation. We arrived as guests and soon felt like family. We’re glad we chose the Red Sunset!

“We are hooked.” This was our second trip to the Casa and we must say it was better than the first. My wife and I had 10 days to explore and take in the Country like we had never before. We found the rainy season (Sept) more to our liking and would highly recommend that time of the year to truly experience the beauty of the region. Cannot say enough about Randy's staff and hospitality, something truly unique in todays environment. As I Titled this review as being hooked for it truly did hook us, to the point we have purchased a house east of Parrita and are moving up our retirement dates. “Great stay, I'd come back.” My brother and I had a wonderful stay. The condo was ideal, the aC a godsend...nice neighbors and location. Tito was a wonderful host/property manager - incredibly helpful with great recommendations. He made my stay relaxing and easy. :) I'd make two minor suggestions - just to have a couple rolls of toilet paper at the house and dishwashing liquid when you arrive. Very minor. Great stay, I'd come back. Thank you for offering your place to stay, and if you or Tito need a reference, please don't hesitate to contact me.

“4th of july vacation” We stayed at your amazing condo, for one week, during july 4th. What a wonderful place to watch the fireworks, top floor, overlooking the island, the beach club, the ocean... The condo is so big, we had a chef cook for us twice during our stay, we had plenty of room for all of us and a couple staying at Veranda. The view from both balconies is stunning and it's a perfect place for relaxing or a party, we did both!!

“Over the top Hospitality and Care!” My husband and I made the decision to visit Light of Dawn after our daughter's awesome honeymoon and wedding experience at Light of Dawn 3 years prior to our stay. This is a completely worry-free travel experience because Deborah and Pete attend to your every need. From your transportation, food, and excursions, your hosts gladly advise and accommodate whatever you desire. You will feel like family with Edgar, your chef, Clara, your housekeeper, Deborah and Pete, your hosts as you enjoy the lush beauty of Costa Rica. My husband even cooked with Edgar during our stay, fun! We did the zip-line, river rafting, sunset sail, and the Vanilla plantation tours and loved them all. The people of Costa Rica are so humble, kind, and joyful. They love sharing their culture with you. Enjoy!

“Amazing value for a slice of paradise!” My girlfriend and I stayed here last summer (July 2013) for 1 week and it was a great experience. The condo is fully equipped with all the amenities you need (stove, oven, dish washer, fridge, washer, dryer, outdoor BBQ, shared pool), it is very clean, ideally situated near the beach and the town of Tamarindo, and it is spacious enough for several couples or even a large family to sleep comfortably (large balcony, 2 bathrooms). It felt like an actual home away from home! (cliche I know... but it's true!). It's a great value and just a few minutes walk from all the town services (bank, pharmacy, shops, tour guides, surf shops) and plenty of great restaurants. We saved a lot by staying that's for sure! Getting to the condo was really easy, there's a shuttle service that picked us up at the airport and gave us the keys, which we returned to them at the end of our stay. All the neighbors were very friendly and some even gave us great advice on what to see and do. Whether you're a group of friends, couples, family, this is a fantastic place to stay at while in Costa Rica and there's no shortage of things to do, areas to explore or beach to simply relax on. Tamarindo is a gem of a place and we are definitely going back and when we do we are definitely staying here again!
