Monarch by the Sea (6300) - Duplex Penthouse, Rooftop Jacuzzi, Awesome Ocean Views
REACH NEW HEIGHTS IN PARADISE
For a Caribbean vacation that towers above the rest, look no further than Monarch by the Sea. This fantastic three-bedroom, three-bath penthouse not only has some of the most epic views of the ocean and beach, but it is situated within one of Cozumel’s most elegant and coveted condominium communities: Residencias Reef. Here’s why.
From the moment you cross through the gated and guarded entrance, you’ll know you’ve arrived. Park your rental car and take in the view: you are within steps of a private, white-sand beach that’s lined with palm trees and shady palapas, and you can stake claim to one of the dozens of plush lounge chairs that put you in full view of the warm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
You’ll also note that this fantastic community has two marvelous freshwater pools, where you can work on your tan or a frozen margarita beneath the shade of your poolside hut. There are also two outdoor showers, so you can rinse away the salt and sand after a fun day on the beach, hot tub, and a SCUBA/snorkeling gear rinse tank to use after coming mask to fin with the exquisite marine life and famed reefs of Cozumel.
And now it’s time to explore the great indoors—and Monarch by the Sea is great indeed. This incredible residence is a penthouse duplex, so you are afforded views that few others will ever enjoy.
Two of the three bedrooms are furnished with incredibly comfortable king-sized beds and both offer walk-out access to the balcony, thoughtful décor, and TVs. The third bedroom is equally grand, offering two queen-sized beds to maximize your sleeping options. The bathrooms are modern and beautifully tiled, and each offers plenty of under-cabinet storage for your personal effects.
Your hosts have also gone the distance to ensure that your indoor amenities are as spectacular as those of the community: they’ve included complimentary Wi-Fi in every room, no-cost calls to the U.S. and Canada, satellite TV with English-language channels (which you can view on the large flat-screen TV), sound system with and iPod/iPhone docking station, DVD and CD players with a music library…well, the list is exhaustive but ideal for when you want to kick back and relax.
While many of the nearby beachfront restaurants offer delivery, you also have a stellar kitchen where you can prepare your own edible creations. It is decked out with granite countertops and high-end stainless-steel appliances, along with all the little must-have gadgets you need to feel at home. And dining locations abound—you can sit around the lovely dining room table with seating for six, enjoy your meal on the huge wrap-around deck (which also offers tables and chairs to accommodate a group of six hungry guests), take the party outside to the pool or beach or—even better—enjoy a little barbecue action atop the rooftop solarium, which is an absolutely gorgeous spot to watch the sunset and enjoy the cool ocean breeze.
For a vacation that truly stands out in location, luxury and amenities, choose the penthouse in paradise: Monarch by the Sea.
Additional amenities include: jetski (personal watercraft), security system, DVD player with movies, radio with ipod / iphone docking station, cycling, ironing board / iron, dining room table, spearfishing, beach palapas, refrigerator / freezer, ocean access, all kitchen utensils: dishes, utensils, pots&pans;, deep sea / fly fishing, beach chairs and loungers, cd player with selection of cds, easy access to the beach, amazing sunsets, hairdryer, in-house masseuse, lounge / common area, coffee maker, horseback riding (jungle and beach), surfing, kite boarding, boating and sailing, scuba diving / snorkeling / fishing trips, granite countertops, stove w/oven, wind surfing, scuba rinse tank, books, magazines, puzzles, games, cards, plasma / lcd TV in living room, 24-hour on call medical service, swimming, patio table and chairs, free wifi internet, washer / dryer, crib / play-pen, jack nicklaus designed golf course, fully furnished, car / scooter / bicycle rentals, boat pick-up from the pier, parasailing nearby, gated property, bottled / filtered drinking water, scuba diving, snorkeling.TripAdvisor property ID 3504111...Read more

We spent a week at Monarch by the Sea and loved it! Our condo was absolutely gorgeous, unbelievably spacious and right on the beach. We had beautiful views from our 2 huge balconies and spent a lot of time on the roof at night. The photos of Monarch do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised!
One of the best things about Residencias Reef is their beach. It is huge and has plenty of beach chairs for lounging. But it is not crowded like some of the other beaches in that area. Also, we were within walking distance to Carlos & Charlies, and also right next door to a dock for snorkeling and parasailing excursions.
The condo had everything we needed - a complete kitchen, satellite TV, Ipod Speaker, washer & dryer, AC outlets so no converters were necessary, and plenty of towels.
Residencias Reef is a beautiful area with a snorkeling reef right off the beach. Very convenient. The condo is gated and we felt extremely safe.
I would totally recommend Monarch by the Sea and Residencias Reef to our family and friends. Margaret at Enjoy Cozumel was great to work with - made it so easy for us to reserve the condo and provided a ton of information that made our trip much more relaxing and fun. We are already thinking about our next trip to Cozumel and will definitely be staying at Monarch by the Sea.

Large condo was clean and well equipped. Beach is not crowded. Nice view from rooftop deck. Great place for divers. Walk 100 m to the pier and be picked up by the dive boats for a short ride to the southern reefs.
Note that the jacuzzi is not typical of those found is the us. It is more like a large bathtub. It does not have it's own water heater and the supply of hot water from the condo is insufficient to fill it.

Great luxury condo. 3 bed and 3 bath with probably 2000 sq of living space. All the amenities one can think of including full kitchen. Satellite TV and us phone. Huge balcony with view of pool and partial view of ocean. Private beach area never crowded. Very quiet and away from all the tourist traps. Can walk to beach clubs with water toys. highly recommend it. would suggest
1) must rent a car. 15-20 min from downtown where all the restaurants are located.
2) loved parilla mission, san carlos pescaderia and el billy asado grill. Del Sur Empanada and El Moro somewhat overrated.

We where very plesantly surprised by how big and beautiful this condo was! So spacious, loved the floor to ceiling glass doors. Amazing view! The house is very well equiped and beautifully decorated! Loved the phone so we could keep in touch with out kids. Bathrooms were beautiful and we loved having our own bathrooms in each room! Location is great. Not too far from down town. Maybe a 7 min drive. I would definatly come and stay here again!

Condo located in Bldg #2. Quiet location with nice views and easy access. Great location for divers. Easy access to the pier for boat pick up. Convenient private rinse tank on the property near one of the 2 heated pools. Great security at the complex. Excellent location, nice beach, close to the reefs. Complex is adjacent to Secrets and Sabor but still very quiet the way the buildings are set on the site. Stayed in another condo in the complex for 7 other days. Very clean and well managed.

If youre looking for a place that has great authentic Mexican food, amazing scenery, and good hospitality, this is it. When we first got there, we were greeted by employees that helped carry our luggage and anything else we needed. From that point on they left us alone and we could call them when we wanted. The condo and beach as a whole is not like your typical resort. It is very quiet and serene, and you will rarely have more than 10 people on the beach. Sometimes it feels like your completely alone on the island. Scuba diving and snorkeling are a must when you stay here. There were at least 500 different types of fish and sea life in the water. Food is really tasty as well. You should actually go into the town for dinner tho. The best restaurants are the ones the locals go to. Try Los otates out, it's a really delicious taco place. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it for couples, families, or for single travelers.

This is a fabulous large condo in which we enjoyed so much with our friends and families.
Each bedroom is spacious with private bathroom and balcony that has amazing water view. We enjoyed breakfast in the balcony overlooking the water, lunch indoor with the aC while enjoying the view of the ocean, and margarita and wine in the solarium with the majestic sunset. The condo is beachfront and the snorkeling and water is out of this world.
