Description
The BunkHouse is situated next to a meadow and horse barn on a 100 acre ranch. Originally, housing ranch-hands, the interior has been updated to one large room with a king size bed, an extra twin canopy bed (in case you have a third traveling with you), kitchenette (good for simple meals/short-term stays...with a small under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and range/oven), and full bath with a claw foot soak tub/shower (no grab bars).
The private ranch "Bunkhouse" has views of valley, mountains, and guests of the ranch enjoy access to gorgeous woodsy hiking trails, two ponds, and wild-life viewing. In the warm weather, guests can sit out in the meadow and read, enjoy a glass of wine, and maybe catch sight of the resident deer, foxes, or elk.
The horses graze nearby. Inside, there is a satellite flat-screen tv.
The "Bunkhouse" retains the rustic charm of the original ranch bunkhouse but inside it enjoys a bit of new country comfort style.

While the Crater Lake National Park entrance is 26 miles away depending on where you are going in the Park and the time of year (July and August being the busiest) 45 minutes will most likely get you there. And the drive there on the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway is so beautiful. Thanks again for staying in the BunkHouse.
