We have had such a brilliant time here. The location next to the beach and wave pool with the ice cream shop and restaurants around made it a hit for all the family. The facilities are superb and the decor is gorgeous, but not too girlie, which my husband appreciated. The views are staggering and watching the world go by from the balcony is great. We would love to come back here.

A week at Neptuna was bliss. A beautifully set up, spacious apartment with one of the the best views in Darwin, straight out to the sunrise over Beagle Bay. A perfect place for poets. It was fabulous emerging from the block to restaurants, lush emerald grass, croc-free swimming - and I loved the evening walk out onto Stoke's Hill Wharf, my favourite and probably the one of cheapest eateries in Darwin. Buy an extra bowl of chips, get a table by the edge, feed the batfish and watch their night ballet.
Neptuna is also an amble away from Deckchair Cinema, another Darwin plus, and the CBD is a glass-lift/aerial walkway 10 minute stroll.
We very comfortably slipped into evening drinks on the balcony, enjoying the breezes. Heather has great taste and was more than helpful. Grab a bunch of friends and book yourself a slice of what life should be about.

I had an amazing weekend with my family and friends at Neptuna. Every whim was catered for and the outlook was spectacular. The personal touches such as a children's toybox, sand toys, swimming goggles all make a family stay so convenient. The view day and night is amazing and everything is so close, all within walking distance. Heather was a wonderful host. Highly recommend for a well deserved break.

We stayed at Neptuna for 3 nights in July 2011, and found it to be a haven in an ideal location. We were most impressed with ease of booking, check-in and quality of the apartment. Location is fabulous, close to restaurants, waterpark and easy walk into Darwin central. Couldn't ask for more.

Everything was just as we would have hoped for. A cyclone was expected when we arrived & Heather made sure we had all that would be needed, however the cyclone changed course.
It is a beautiful place to stay, with everything within walking distance.
Have already recommended it to others.

I organized Neptuna for my grandparenta for their trip to Darwin. Everything was as it was presented on the web site. The owners were good to deal with, and we were really pleased with the location. Neptuna has a great balcony and it's on a corner, so it's not just 180 degree views but more like 270. It was only a short walk to town and there were little things included that were not expected like washing powder and cracked pepper. I would recommend highly

We struggle to find holiday options for our family with 2 small children (aged 2 and 4). We managed to hit the nail on the head when we stayed at Neptuna @ Waterfront. From the moment we first booked our experience with Neptuna was stress-free and seamless. The directions were straight forward and the apartment was great- location better than imagined with a great view directly over the harbour. The accommodation was luxurious with the convenience of home which one really appreciates with young children- fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and space to relax after the kids are tucked into bed.
The location of the apartment was fantastic in some (not all) respects- great was the grassed public areas, lagoon and wave lagoon, and the close proximity to the CBD and Stokes Hill Wharf- not great being on the second floor above a busy restaurant precinct, on the weekend evenings there was quite a bit of noise from downstairs. If one is happy to turn on the air conditioning and ignore it then it wasn't a problem, if however you wanted to let the breeze blow through then you might find it bit noisy. The apartment block was a little in need of maintenance but that is really splitting hairs.
Overall, it is a lovely apartment to stay in in a great location with heaps of activities at the door step to occupy busy little kids. No end of options for people without kids too.
Thank you for your review. I had been concerned about the precinct noise during the weekend evenings, but have been reassured by previous guests that closing doors and windows resolves any issues. I appreciate your comments about the apartment block, I was aware that the access and lift areas need more regular cleaning and have been negotiating with the Building Manager about this. I am glad that you enjoyed the views and all the precinct has to offer.
