We only stayed at the cottage for one day but was very happy with our stay. When we got to the cottage my 13 year old grandson and I went for a ride on the bikes along with his Dad. Something we have always wanted to do in Destin. It was just a short walk to the beach but as we where there only one day we made the walk just a few times. The upstairs room is very large and sitting on the swing having morning coffee was a joy. My 7 year old grandson loved the outside shower. My husband and I took the room with the twin bed and he said it was like sleeping in a candy wrapper as the beds had plastic bed pads on the mattress. I understand that if there is small children you might need them to save the mattress and put the plastic on the beds. but makes for a bad night sleep. If I had thought I would have taken them off the beds. But all in all our stay was nice.
"Wonderful, relaxing stay at Cozy Beach House-everything we wante"

My family of 3 went with my bff's family of 4. The Cozy Beach House was everything we wanted. Comfortable, cozy, clean and only steps to the beach! It was equipped with everything we wanted and extras we didn't even think of. 2 bbq grills in garage (charcoal and gas), beach chairs and toys, and bikes! So much nicer than staying in a condo. This was our 3rd trip to Destin and hopefully on the 4th trip we will be able to stay here again!

Loved that the house had bikes, beach equipment and basketball in the back. This was the perfect vacation home for a family. Don't like that the closest access to the beach is very restricted by the local condos and pushes everyone from the private homes to scrunch on a sliver of the beach...but the comfort of the house makes up for it.

We have stayed in many places in Destin, over 25 visits. This one is in the top 5 picks. Great location, great layout, great extras (bikes, grill and beach chairs). Love, love, love it. However you need to find a different cleanig crew. We found dirt and dust abound, candy wrappers, empty pop and water bottles under beds. I had to do a quick clean before I let the grandchildren unpack, bummer!!!

This is a very comfortable home. It is recently updated and well maintained. It is very close to the beach and an awesome place to stay. If we go back to Destin, we will try to stay there without a doubt. Dale Peterson Vacations is top-notch as well. The entire stay was perfect!
