Description

CHEYNE COTTAGE is an exceptional village property in Wiltshire, just 2 miles from the market town of Devizes. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 large reception rooms, 2 bathrooms & Wireless Broadband throughout.

In Potterne Village, the cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac only a stone's throw from the 17th Century village pub, the shop, the church and the post office.

Recently completely refurbished, Cheyne Cottage is close to Bath, Stonehenge, Longleat, Avebury, Salisbury, Stourhead & Lacock. It lies at the heart of Neolithic Wiltshire close to the many historic sites, as well as being in the centre of crop circle country.

Cheyne Cottage is comfortable, spacious & detached. It sleeps 6 (+ 2 on a sofabed) and is available for holidays all year. Bookings welcome for short breaks as well as full weeks.

GROUND FLOOR: Good sized, bright, fitted kitchen opening into large dining/family room. Separate large lounge with 3 piece suite, flat screen television, DVD and double sofa bed (a further folding bed also available if required).

Hallway and large downstairs bathroom with full sized steel bath.

The kitchen is very well equipped and has a newly fitted halogen hob and quality Alessi cutlery.

FIRST FLOOR: 3 good sized bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin) and upstairs bathroom (with shower cubicle) immediately adjacent to the first double.

The whole house has been decorated, fitted out and furnished to a high standard and includes all the modern appliances and equipment you would expect to ensure your holiday is comfortable and relaxed.

Cheyne Cottage is centrally heated and bed linen and towels are provided.

Also included are: wireless broadband throughout, flat screen TV (Freesat & Freeview), DVD, stereo/CD, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, indoor clothes airer, patio furniture, BBQ and rotary washing line.

There is ample off road parking for at least 3 cars.

There is a large private back garden with lawn, flower borders and a full width, paved patio with BBQ. Badminton equipment, including net, is provided as well a football, and other garden games. The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, in the middle of the village close to the post office, village shop and traditional country pub.

Families with young children are welcome. A cot, high chair, stair gates, children's games, books and DVDs can all be provided on request.
