We enjoyed the house and would love to go back again. When the fog lifts, the views from the house are amazing. It is a short drive from the beach, but the quiet location, views and wildlife of the area make up for it.
The one thing on the negative side if you need to sleep more than 4 people is the downstairs bedroom. The third bedroom, which you access through the garage, is not ideal. The room is nice but there is a dehumidifier constantly running in the room. It took away from an otherwise wonderful experience.

The house was very nice and clean. The upstairs and eating area had a great view. One of the bedrooms you have to go through the garage to get to it and I would really not call the garage a game room all it had was a foosball table and air hockey. The kitchen could have had more pots & pans, cooking utensils, serving bowls and other kitchen items. The vacuum did not work at all so we had to sweep the whole house before we left. It is a great family rental my only wish was it was closer to the beach and we had a beach pass..had to pay $7.00 for parking each time we went to the beach.

We stayed at the Surly Clam for three nights over Christmas and enjoyed the house greatly! The location is ideal for getting to the beach and the house offers many great views. We were at maximum capacity in this house and were quite comfortable in the kitchen and main living spaces. My only complaint is that the pull out mattress in the couch is very old and quite uncomfortable. We ended up having two guests just sleep on the floor because it was more comfortable than the sleeper sofa. Overall, it was a very pleasant vacation.

The location has a great view but is up a very steep hill. It had plenty of room for parking a boat trailer but was somewhat inconvenient going into town or bodega bay. View is worth it though-spectacular.

Great home, wonderful views, enjoyable vacation. The home is clean, well equipped and spacious. DBPM provided a spotless home for our visit.
Vacuum and coffee maker are in marginal operational condition -- they need to be replaced. Possible safety issue on stairs going down to the living room. Top stair molding caused one of our guests to fall down the stairs.
DBPM is easy to work with. Thanks for your professional service.

Just returned from Thanksgiving weekend. Nice comfortable house. Wonderful views from most rooms. Dillon Beach Prop. Mgmt. was easy to work with.
We arrived at Surly Clam with no electricity for 5 hours. The house should have some candles for this type of emergency. One of our party tripped and fell down the four steps to the living room because of the molding on the top step. She was injured but nothing broken. This is a safety issue that should be addressed and that you will need to be aware of. The coffee maker and vacuum cleaner should be replaced. They are both dated, marginally operational, and essential for guests especially for cleaning after a stay at the house.
Overall Dillon Beach and the house is a wonderful retreat from your daily routine.
“This property is spacious and has beautiful views.”

We used this property for a women's retreat. It was beautiful. The views from the upstairs master bedroom are beautiful. The entire house is open and has wonderful views. The decription on the internet was a little different from what we found. The bedroom with a full and twin was actually a bunk bed, that is against the wall. There is no jacuzzi, but we didn't need it. The coffee maker and vacuum could be replaced. Other than than these things the place was very nice. It's a quick drive to Dillon Beach and nice get away. The kitchen was fully stocked, although it could use another skillet. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. We had a great time on this mini vacation/retreat!!
