Additional Location Information

Nestled in the heart of the Rockies at the base of the West slope of Pikes peak and just 35 minutes from Colorado Springs, this is the perfect retreat from the stresses of modern life.
Valley Glen (Formerly D&B; Ranch) is just a short four-mile drive off Highway 67 between Divide and Cripple Creek. The property is adjacent to the 12,000 acres of Mueller State Park and the area offers a wide variety of activities. Beautiful hiking trails are available in Mueller State Park and throughout the surrounding Pike National Forest. Nearby Eleven Mile Canyon with its South Platte River has some of Colorado’s best trout fishing, as do a number of nearby lakes. The creek running through the property is filled with brook trout, offering some challenging angling right at home. Visitors who enjoy gambling will want to visit historic Cripple Creek only 10 minutes away. Wildlife abounds in the region, and it is not uncommon to view Bighorn sheep, mule deer, and elk from within the cottages. History enthusiasts will enjoy the area’s rich and colorful past. And trips to the old mining town of Victor, or tours of turn-of-the-century mines are sure to please. If you enjoy shopping we're just 35 minutes from Downtown Colorado Springs.
