The Burrow is a beautifully designed mudbrick and cedar retreat, offering self contained B&B accommodation in a purely natural Australian landscape. In the heartland of Melbourne's Yarra Valley, it's just one hour from the CBD or the Airport, and only ten minutes from Yarra Glen.

Set beside a shady billabong, a paradise for the resident birdlife, this is a tranquil retreat for the couple seeking privacy and relaxation. In the heart of the Yarra Valley, you won't be short of things to do and places to go. But most of all, you'll pocket a wealth of take home memories of a close encounter with Nature, in a purely Australian setting that guarantees every comfort, perfect privacy and absolute quietude. Getting around

If you have your own transport (car) there is no limit to the places you can readily explore. We are well supplied with maps and guides to all attractions. There are also some excellent tour guides who will tailor a day tour to meet your interests, enabling even the shortest amount of time to be fully maximised.

Interaction with guest

We are always extremely happy to engage with our guests if they wish it. However, we also respect privacy and make sure we do not invade guests' personal space. There are many things to experience in our Yarra Valley, so we are well prepared with maps and guides to assist in planning any day's activities., along with shopping and dining & wine tasting recommendations.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sue (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
