Description
Riverview House will comfortably accomodate large families and groups ( up to 11). The spacious main bedroom has a double bed and ensuite shower room. A second bedroom has double bed, futon and babies cot. Third bedroom has bunk beds and two single beds. If needed the sofa in the lounge opens up to form another double.
The kitchen / diner is well equiped and can easily seat 10, and is linked to the lounge and log fire by an open doorway. The cental heating is by wood burning biomass boiler - don' t worry we can have someone look after this for you! There is also a laundry and drying room - ideal for wet ski wear etc.
Nearby ( 20 - 30 mins drive ) are very reasonably priced ski resorts at Donovaly and Ruzomberok which are ideal for beginners and families. Further afield ( 30 - 40 mins ) are many more resorts ( Low and High Tatras are in easy reach ). In the Summer the area is a haven for mountain persuits - walking, cycling, fishing etc. Golden Eagle are regularly seen and at the right time of the year bear watching trips can be booked.

“Comfortable house, 30 mins from ski resort”
Stayed for a week in January primarily to go skiing. It is a warm, comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen. There were plenty of logs supplied for the open fire at no extra cost. The house is situated in a valley next to a river. A very pretty location. There are two small shops in the village and two pubs. Although we made good use of the cooking facilities at the house we also ate out at the ski resort of Donovaly and at Pizza Heaven in Liptovski Osada. The cost of food and drink was very low. This was our first time skiing and Donovaly was an ideal place to start. Lessons were very cheap- €49 euro for three hour individual lesson. Would like to go back in the summer for the walking and wildlife.

“Fantastic location, Situated in local village,”
Great location, lovely scenery when looking outside. The house is very homely and comfortable, nice to curl up in front of the log fire on cold evening, watching a dvd or playing games with friends and family. The local area is very peaceful and quite. There are good facilities for skiing, within a short driving distance. There is a local bar in the village within walking distance. There are several good restaurants with in a short drive, all of which are appear to cater for most needs. The prices for food and drink are very reasonable. Car hire is necessary on this holiday , this can easily be arranged, we were given a couple of car hire company names by the owner of the property. I would fully recommend this property/location and will definitely be going back in the future. One of the most relaxing family holidays I have ever had!- you can do a much or as little as you like.
