Description
This spacious property is situated in a private road in Lake End, Dorney Village. The property overlooks The Jubilee River, Wetlands and fields including grazing for horses and cows. Also in the village is the beautiful Dorney Court a 450 year old Manor House open to visitors, the 2012 Olympic Rowing Lake and Dorney Common a 169 acre private common which has been in agricultural use for around 1,000 years.
A rural area but with the benefit of being within easy distance of three railway stations into London and the M4 motorway, approx 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport. Approximately 3.3 miles to the historic Windsor and Eton, with an abundance of foot and cycle paths.
Two charming village pubs nearby. The Pineapple is less than one minutes walk and offers locally renowned sandwiches and a full bar. The Palmers Arms is around a five minute walk and offers high quality British pub food and a full bar.
Other local attractions include Windsor Castle, Legoland and Thorpe Park.
The cottage itself is warm and comfortable with gas central heating. The ground floor has a spacious sitting room, a large well appointed kitchen with a table and chairs, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, double electric oven, microwave oven and a gas hob. A light and airy conservatory with a large farmhouse dining table. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor with a King size bed. Bathroom/shower room.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the Master bedroom is very spacious with a Super King bed which can be separated into 2 single beds, the second bedroom is double aspect offering lovely views over the Jubilee River and Windsor Castle, this room has a Double Bed, The third bedroom has bunk beds. Also upstairs is a Shower Room with a power shower and toilet.
Outside is a private patio area complete with table and chairs underneath a sun canvas.
Child friendly.
Nearby railway stations:
Taplow (Line from Reading to London Paddington) - 1.8 miles (2.9 km) - 5 minute drive or 35 minute walk.
Windsor & Eton Riverside (Line from Windsor to London Waterloo) - 3.3 miles (5.3 km) - 10 minute drive to Eton and 2 minute walk over the bridge.

“Stunning house in Dorney”
It was a lovely time spending at Appletree cottage in Dorney.The English style was one of the amazing thing for my family who came from Romania. The hospitality was more than we have before and the cleaning was a high standard.We had our son weeding at Oakley Court in Windsor and it was so easy to get the taxi .The scenery around the cottage is magical and also Liesley was very kind when we needed something.I am highly recommend this house to everyone who like to have a magical and wonderful time .Thank you Liesley for make myfamily happy.Mariana&Lawrencexxx
