Kilmichael House is a lovely Victorian House set back from the raod, standing alone in its own grounds surrounded by giant Redwood Sequoia Trees. In days gone by Kilmichael was home to the doctor and his surgery was to the rear of the property in a shed (still standing) Today the house has been sympathetically converted into a very comfortable home from home in the Highlands. Many of the period features in the public areas have been retained i.e. window shutters, fireplaces, archways and last but not least the open reception hall with a rather nice, elegant sweeping staircase to the first floor where all the guest bedrooms are located. The bedrooms have either garden views or views over the open fields towards the hills beyond. They offer flexible accommodation options are spacious, light, tastefully furnished and equipped with beverage trays, hairdryers, flatscreen TV/DVD/Radio, (small selection of DVD's are available) and free wi-fi access. Three bedrooms are en-suite and the fourth has a separate bathroom. N.B. the superking room can be used for double /twin occupancy subject to availability and room choice must be requested at time of booking only - rates on request.
Guest parking is free at own risk and is located at the front of the house
Check in time is between 4pm and 7pm and check out is by 10am.
Visitors should be aware that the entire property is non smoking and we operate a very strict No Food Brought Onto the Premises Policy and nor do we provide Cooking BBQ or Picnic Facilities.
