This is a good house for large groups. We had 15 and were comfortable. Great dinning room table but awful western windows without curtains. Nice pool, jacuzzi, horse shoe put and pool table. Multiple houses come together at back yards so not a great deal of privacy. The furniture is comfortable. The rental company responded quickly when needed but the office is a good 10-15 minutes the wrong way at check in and check out. Overall we like the house and thought it was very well constructed.

Having never been to the Outer Banks and booking online, I was not 100% sure of what I was going to find upon our arrival. Everything exceeded my expectations! The house was fabulous with everything one could want, clean, well stocked with kitchen items and in great condition. (Only thing wrong was grill was so bad we could not use it-but there was a charcoal grill we did use.) Short walk to the beach, then back to the your own pool...just awesome. We all said we would rent the same place again!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Clearview by the Sea and in Duck, NC. The house was picked because it was large enough for our extended family, had a private pool, and was a short walk to the beach. The bonuses were the volleyball, basketball, etc. However, we were disappointed to find no balls there! and broken pool furniture, zero in the way of beach toys or pool toys (the advertisement made it seem there are at least a small amount of these as people typically leave them behind. It's been our experience in renting large homes like this that there are always some toys, etc there). Broken beer bottles and caps in the pool area and outside it by the trees. Even a couple old dirty socks in the yard/trees. A lighter under the bunk beds where my nieces slept (thank goodness they are smart, honest little girls and immediately brought it to my mom). It seems the cleaning crew you hire does not do a thorough job cleaning. We think we left the house cleaner than what we found it. Another disappointment was the headboard in the bedroom in the basement -- for such a nice home, couldn't someone have repaired? And replaced the missing handle on the nightstand? For the money, we just expected these things to be average or above average. I was surprised when I was floating in the pool and a man I don't know came to the back yard and asked me to let him in the house and look at a spot on the carpet. The locks didn't seem to work well on several of the doors, and the doors themselves were didn't match up well to the lock, etc. The location was wonderful, the addition was great. The overall experience was very nice, but could have been excellent with a cleaner home, more attention to detail, and better accomodations at the pool. I would recommend to a friend, but maybe not the same house.

We rent every year in Four Seasons for Spring Break. We have stayed in this house before several years ago and felt it needed updating then. The carpet is bad (and was very spotted with stains) and many little things were broken. It is a great location and could be spruced up pretty cheaply. We really appreciated having the house pool open this year - this is the first time we have had that for Spring Break. We would have rented other homes that we liked better but this is the only one that would open the pool a few days early. My four kids play basketball everyday and brought balls planning to play on advertised hoop in driveway. The hoop was missing so we requested a replacement the first day and it never happened.

Beach Realty was great getting us in on time and we were treated wonderfully during check-in. Once we arrived, we found that the house was not as glamourous as the pictures/write-up showed it to be. The bedroom linens were more than well-worn, the shower curtains were moldy, and the refrigerator meat drawer track was broken so that every time someone made a sandwich the drawer fell out onto the floor. We called about the moldy shower curtains and a shortage of towels and never got that taken care of, though they promised each of the three times we called. The house was average but not worth the rental amount we paid. We have rented much nicer homes for the same price in the past.

Table on deck off kitchen would be nice for dinning. More outdoor deck furniture and chairs are needed. Some pool furniture and chairs need to be replaced and/or updated. Rec room carpeting should be replaced.
