Everything and more! Idyllic and peaceful but central.

Left on Jul 06, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

I am very happy to say this property was exactly as described both verbally and photographically by the rental company.

The cottage is situated a little way up a lane to the side of the owners home and another cottage they also rent out so you are literally in the middle of all the open greenery and truly away from it all and everyone, but still just minutes away from the not too busy main road…

We wanted somewhere I could stay with my teenagers and be joined by a friend with her teenager (plus dogs!). We have walked, been to Bristol and sampled local hospitality, neighbours have made us welcome and the cost of the property was so reasonable for a holiday period, …

Cottage Rental with Homespun Charm

Left on Jul 21, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We spent 6 nights in this rental. It felt as though we were staying in a cottage home, not a rental cottage. It is 200-400 years old. And the quaintness and quirks to go with it. We did not want a sterile, "do-over", it is not. The wood beams, step down kitchen, attic bedroom with sloped ceilings made us feel we were back in time. The good-sized bathroom and complete kitchen were welcome …

Cannot fault this cottage or location at all. Everything has been perfect for us and everything we needed was included in the cottage. We were woken each morning by cows coming up onto the village green and the people living in the village were all very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of walks, we especially liked the walk through box wood. Would recommend this lovely place and would …

Fabulous cottage, location and owners - you won't be disappointed!

Left on Mar 02, 2014 for a stay in February 2013

From the moment we arrived complete with dogs we couldn't have been made more welcome. The cottage was warm, comfortable with everything you could possibly need - even a bowl for the dogs!

The ground floor bedroom with an adjacent wet room was great for us and with two further bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor it offered excellent family accommodation. The kitchen had everything…

Lovely family home

Left on Feb 19, 2014 for a stay in February 2014

The property is delightful with a lovely garden overlooking the local hills. The owners have left plenty of books for serious walkers. We love walking but tend to be 'town walkers, sticking to pavements!' We found local walks to suit and had a very enjoyable time even if it did rain!
