Totally enjoyable. Our six adult children and their growing families (including 3 month-old twins) and ourselves, had a wondeful time. There were 24 of us altogether. Everybody had space. The facilities were excellent with immediate staff response to any questions/issues. Local attractions and shopping were very conveniently located. We know there is one fish in the lake. Most enjoyable were the smiles on all those who shared this experience. It was our 45th. anniversary to our family.
Wow - congratulations on your growing family and Happy Anniversary! We are thrilled that our home provided you with the space and comfort to enjoy and make memories together as a family! We hope you get the opportunity to explore more of the Chin of Lakes, and find more than one little fishy next time! Please let us know if you want to re-book your stay any time in the future - we'd be delighted to have you.

We stayed at the Voyageur Crossings 10 Bedroom Home in the spring of 2010 with 24 of our friends and couldn't have been more impressed! The house was a perfect size for a large group like ours with lots of living spaces, bedrooms, the always important bathrooms (there were 8 of them!) and even 2 full kitchens! We had a blast playing yard games on the huge flat backyard, sand volleyball and campfires. It was so picture-perfect with everyone being directly on the lake. We couldn't get over how peaceful it felt just sitting on the deck or patio and watching the sunset go down while listening to the waves and loons sing. Even though there are a few other homes at Voyageur Crossings, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and only saw one other group the entire time we were there. We joked that we hope nobody else finds out about this place, so it'll be like our own secret gem. The home itself was gorgeous inside. Really nice furniture, bedding, Tv's, etc.
If you stay here, check out Twelve Pines. It is about a two block walk, (or you can take your boat), and has really good homemade pizza. I would also recommend getting out on the chain of lakes. A couple of our friends brought boats and there was way more than enough room at the private marina. We could have probably brought a dozen boats and we would have still have had room. This is always one of our biggest complaints at other places, simply not enough dock space. We were pleasantly surprised to see that this certainly isn't an issue here. It was also unbelievable how many lakes there are, (apparently it's the largest chain of lakes in the world), and you can do almost anything by boat. The only recommendation I would make would be to have extra throw blankets in the living rooms. Pretty picky, I know, but everything else was awesome! We'll definitely be back!

If your looking for a large cabin with all the amenities in Eagle River this is definitely a great spot. I stayed up there with a few buddies last fall and was very impressed. You could have very well slept a small army in there for the amount of beds they had. Everything was very new and updated which is always nice. Given the fact it was football season it was nice to have Satellite TV so we could catch the games. We probably spent the most time outside. It was the perfect time of year to fish during the day and have a fire at night. I caught a 3-4 pound small mouth along the right shoreline if your looking at the lake. Unfortunately, I still haven't seen that picture from my buddy yet. Pretty sure it would have made the Eagle River headlines! The firepit had some great space around it close to the lake. Certainly no problem getting a number of chairs up and close. Overall, it was an awesome place to stay. One of my friends liked it so much that he decided to make it an annual trip for our group. We'll be up there again soon and can't wait!!

This was a great choice for a couples winter get away. The accommodations were very nice, with plenty of room for our large group. The layout gave every one there privacy and also had a nice living area to hang out in. It is located close to the snowmobile trail with plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. There are also a number of bars and restaurants located near by.
