Be one of the discerning to discover all that Cranberry Castle and northern Wisconsin has to offer. With 8,500 square feet under air this massive luxurious log and stone cabin is one of the finest in the Northwoods and ready to make memories.
Located on Cranberry Lake on the famous Eagle River Chain, the largest chain of interconnected lakes in the world. The clean and easily navigable lakes are perfect if you are looking to swim, ski, fish or just take the boat out for dinner. At just under 1000 acres Cranberry is the second largest and last lake on the Eagle River chain. There are no restaurants on Cranberry Lake so boat traffic on the lake is minimal. Cranberry Castle sits on a level lot with pristine sand frontage on quiet “Musky Bay”. On top of this the house is on a dead end and a ten minute drive from the quaint shops of downtown.
The “Castle” is truly high end with no expense spared. Some features include a whole home ipod ready stereo system, full cedar (not pine) log interior, hardwood floors, beautiful tile, Brazilian rosewood cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The vaulted ceilings and towering lakeside windows provide beautiful views.
The main chef's kitchen is fully furnished should you choose not to take your boat out to dinner. It features a 48' Viking Professional natural gas stove complete with a grill and griddle, Wolf stainless steel double oven, Wolf warming tray, a large Sub-Zero side by side fridge/freezer, Wolf microwave and Kitchen Aid Superba stainless steel dishwasher. There is also a guest kitchen upstairs complete with a stove/oven and full fridge/freezer should you need more space.
GREAT ROOM FEATURES:
Sitting at the pub table enjoying a glass of wine is a great place to take in the lake views. Other features include a carved pool table with ample seating, Yamaha grand piano, beautiful stone fireplace, big screen HDTV and a full size pull out sleeper sofa.
MASTER BEDROOM & BATHROOM HIGHLIGHTS:
The master bedroom sits in the upper south tower with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous lake views. It features a rustic log bed, memory foam queen mattress with high thread count cotton sheets and a wall mounted 32” HDTV. There is a glass enclosed double shower and vanity along with an walk-in closet and jetted tub.
PATIO AND YARD HIGHLIGHTS:
The grand patio offers two full deep seating sets with room for ten, a full stone outdoor fireplace, built in commercial natural gas grill, charcoal Weber and speakers running off the house stereo. Just off the patio on the side of house sits the outdoor spa (operational May-October) with seating for six including a recliner. The large level yard has space to set up a volleyball net and throw the football around. The lakeside hammock warrants a competition for who can get there first. The children can build sandcastles on the beach and wade in the water. The lakeside fire pit seats 14 and is great for making s'mores and telling stories. There are six additional recliners provided that can be placed wherever you feel necessary.
UPPER NORTH TOWER BEDROOM & BATH HIGHLIGHTS:
The upper north tower sits opposite the master and is sometimes referred to as the “other master”. Beautiful views, vaulted ceilings, a California king bed and a 32” wall mounted HDTV complete this room. The bathroom features a granite counter top, complete wrap of tile and cedar along with a glass enclosed shower.
Comfortable seating for ten, an Infinity surround sound system with 300 watt sub woofer, popcorn machine (pre-measured packets provided), HD projector with Direct TV and Blu-Ray/DVD make this a perfect place to watch the game or have family movie night.
Lake views, rustic décor (including trophy muskie mount), a heated travertine floor and over sized wicker chairs make this an ideal place to enjoy morning coffee. This is the best place to watch the deer run through the yard.
LIVING ROOM & DINING TABLES
The living room features a cozy sitting area around the warm stone fireplace. The main solid oak dining table has seating for ten with two beautiful chandeliers overhanging. There is also a smaller table for the children with seating for ten.
LOWER LEVEL BEDROOMS:

Commercial grade game tables including air hockey, foosball, ping pong and boccerball round out the list of things to do on a rainy day. A hotel grade water system allows all showers to run together without pressure loss. A water treatment system provides bottled water quality right from the tap. Additional Location Information
Eagle River is a top vacation destination because there is so much to do! Our favorite thing and what drew us to the area was the 28 interconnected lakes forming the largest chain of lakes in the world. Imagine a full day of cruising the lakes on a pontoon, laughing with family and friends, a well-stocked cooler, listening to oldies, pulling tubes behind for the children, jumping in the water to cool off and stopping at various restaurants along the way. This is truly an up north paradise. Please contact us to have a luxury pontoon delivered to the dock. With class A rated musky lakes, Eagle River is great for fishing too! My wife loved the quaint shops of downtown. Fall brings crisp air, beautiful colors, and art festivals. This is a great time to hike in the nearby Nicolet National Forest. Winter is absolutely beautiful and Eagle River is the snowmobile capital of the world. With well-groomed and marked trails this is a fitting place for the championship snowmobile derby. Other activities include a half hour drive to the nearest ski hill and casino. For seasonal events please visit: http://www.eagleriver.org/

My parents wanted to do something special and get all the grandchildren together. We rented the castle for a week and had a great time. We had a pontoon delivered to the dock and spent days on the water. The house and yard were very clean and comfortable. It is hard to get a feel for the true size and scale of the home from the pictures. This was our first experience staying at a vacation rental and we could not have been happier!

Outstanding property with everything you need to have a good time in the Northern woods. Seventeen of us enjoyed a guy's weekend at this great property. Everything was clean and well kept. The air hockey, pool and ping pong tables hosted many great battles during our stay. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We had 16 stay at the Cranberry Castle for Christmas and also to celebrate my Mother's 80th birthday. The house was perfect. The kids loved all the games and theater room. The theater room is also a great spot to watch the Packers! We loved all the different tables which we used for wrapping presents, decorating Christmas cookies, making handmade ornaments, playing games, and enjoying wonderful dinners. The hot tub was enjoyed many times. We went out of the lake for some snowshoeing. Brandon was great to work with. We hope to return for another Christmas or maybe enjoy Cranberry Castle in the summer. Beautiful house and area!

We rented this beautiful home to celebrate Thanksgiving 2013 with our family and friends and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The amenities are truly over the top. The double ovens in the main kitchen allowed us to prepare and enjoy our special dinner without any problems or delays.
We must say that house has a fantastic theater room equipped with a popcorn maker :) where the children as well as the adults relaxed and enjoyed watching a few great movies. You best believe that no one was bored at any time, there so many amenities to keep the whole family busy having fun. We're really looking forward to another fantastic experience in this gorgeous home. We highly recommend it :)

My family has been coming to the Eagle River/St. Germain area for well over 15 years. Cranberry Castle, by far, has been the best location we have ever experienced. The owner kept us up to date on all parts of the rental process and made solid recommendations for services and events in the area. If you look at the pictures, the home is all that and more. Everything is top shelf with virtually no expense being spared on quality. The kitchen was world class along with the incredible media room. We had 18 people at one point (ranging from 6 to 70 years in age) and everyone had space to do group or individual things. We especially loved sitting at the outside patio, fire burning, watching the beautiful night sky and stars. We will certainly plan our return. If you have a chance to enjoy this unique and exceptional house, I would definitely recommend it!

We recently returned from a family vacation at Cranberry Caste. We had a group of 20, 10 adults & 10 children, ages 4-16. Although the weather was not the best, the game tables, movie theatre, hot tub, & piano kept everyone busy on those rainy days, we never felt crowded. The home, yard, outdoor fireplace & location is exceptional and top quality. We also enjoyed seeing many deer & eagles daily. The lake is quiet for boating & water activities. Our family has been fortunate to stay at many rental properties, and Cranberry Castles certainly rates at the top and we hope to return again. Great vacation.

Our family stayed here for a week in June and enjoyed the home very much. The kitchen and outdoor cooking area was wonderful and made it great to cook out every day/night for our meals. Many of us never even left the home for the week. So relaxing whether we were out on the patio, pier or enjoying time inside. The media room was a big hit for watching the winning game for the "Blackhawks". Plenty of room for everyone. Especially loved the outdoor patio lounger chairs. Great place for family and friends.

Just returned from an amazing stay at Cranberry Castle. We had pretty high expectations based on the listing description & photos and we were not disappointed! The extensive common areas, beautiful setting and many amenities provided lots of things to do without even leaving the property. The layout is perfect for a group, couples or families. We especially enjoyed cooking meals in the gourmet kitchen and watching movies in the spectacular home theater.
The property was meticulously maintained and had countless high-end features and finishes, making it feel truly luxurious. Although there are plenty of outdoor activities and other things to do in the area, you could easily entertain yourself for a week without ever leaving the property.
We would highly recommend this property to friends and family and if our travels bring us to Wisconsin again in the future, we would definitely stay at Cranberry Castle again!

Our family stayed at the castle for a long weekend in February and had a blast. We decided to come back for the first week of June. The house was great as expected but we really loved the lake. The quiet bay and beach were perfect for our young grandchildren. Already planning our trip for next year.

Truely a dream come true! This house was amazing in every way. My family stayed here over the New Year and we never wanted to leave the house. It had a ping pong table, movie theater, pool table, a huge dining room table overlooking gorgeous grounds/lake with massive windows. The kitchen was too die for so cooking was actually fun! The owner was so accomodating and nice. We will definetly be back!

We had an amazing time at the "castle!" With 24 family members in one location you'd think we'd be cramped, but we were extremely comfortable. This home is not lacking for anything. We have stayed at several private homes and resorts in the Eagle River/Rhinelander areas and this was by far the finest. We had dinner several evenings at home and the kitchen/dining areas were perfect for our large group. The kids loved the in home theater in the evenings! They must have watched a dozen movies. After a long, cold day on the snowmobile trails we would start a roaring fire which quickly warmed us up. Brandon made sure the there was plenty of stacked, dry firewood in the wood shed. Speaking of Brandon, he was was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from inquiring about the property to booking it to answering any questions. We look forward to returning again some day, possibly in the summer. My husband wants to try to catch some Musky! Great time had by all!
