This farm cottage was perfect for our family of 6, kids ranging 7-13 years. It was beautifully decorated with every amenity provided from soap, stain remover to extra pillows and chilled drinks in the fridge!
With no tv or computers it was such a totally relaxing environment. Lots of games and puzzles provided or just chill out in the garden or on the rockers on the porch. The children loved the swing set and playing with the kittens.
The location is ideal for those wishing to have a quiet spot on the edge of the busy touristic Lancaster area.
Great hosts who were welcoming, very approachable and helpful.

Our whole fsmily (with our son's family included) enjoyed our stay at the cottage on the farm. The location was ideal - in the heart of the amish country but not on a main road. It truly felt like a home away from home. The younger grandkids did think it was our home in pa! The Good family made us feel welcome to participate in any "farm-life" experience as we wanted. After doing "touristy" things for several days, the grandkids mainly wanted to hang out at the farm and explore the creek with Jaydon Good. Another special touch was finding homemade cinnamon bread and granola in the freezer! We do hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you, Good family!

Staying at the Valley Brook Farm House was a great choice when traveling with the extended family. It was the perfect spot for our technology -dependent teens to sit back and listen to nature, watch the host family busying themselves with their daily chores, tending the gardens, feeding the animals, spending time outdoors in the sunshine and fresh air. Hopefully they gained insight into there possibly being more to life than TV, cell phones and Ipods. Grandmoms got to reflect on how things used to be. They enjoyed listening to the birds by the window each day. The Good Family sure know how to meet the needs of families away from home. The tastefully decorated 4 bedroom home was not lacking anything a traveler would need. Very nice touches with the complimentery homemade bread and granola. A well stocked kitchen made for a lot less work and more family time spent together. The pictures on the brochure are nice, but you really have to see this beautiful vacation spot for yourself to truly see and feel the serenity.
Another plus, it is close to everthing you would want to do in Lancaster County! A great value for everything you get. You can't bring your own dog, but the farm dogs visit often and sit with you on the porch as you relax in the rockers. A great plus as our family loves dogs.
We look forward to staying with the Goods again!

We're stayed on Ms. Good's dairy farm four times. Each time is better than the last. We love sitting on the porch and watching the workings of the farm. It's such a peaceful place to be. The home is very clean and supplied with everything you could possible need during your stay. Love, love, love it there.
