Additional Location Information

Lots to do in this quiet, more residential part of the Cape. Walk to Nauset Beach, sail from Rock Harbor or Nauset Bay, or simply bike around Orleans (you can join up with the bike path opposite the ever-popular Hot Chocolate Sparrow.) While there is so much to do (and eat!), make time to settle in with some "world famous" onion rings and fried clams from Liam's (on Nauset Beach) - especially on a Monday when the band shell always has entertainment. The location lends itself to beach lovers of all kinds. If the ocean waves are too strong for little ones, the bay side boasts Skatet Beach, where everyone meets everyone else looking for hermit crabs through the shallow, warmer waters. There are also excellent lakes, like Crystal Lake and Pilgrim Lake to wash the salt off before heading back home. Once back at Breezy Way, be sure to get your cameras ready for a sunset you won't forget at Rock Harbor. You'll be part of the action as you listen to steel drums or whoever else might be there to celebrate the view. And, for a sweet way to end your day, our favorite places are Ice Cream Cafe (across from the Christmas Tree Shoppe) and Sundae School (right down the road and a nice way to walk off the treats.) Speaking of treats, both ice cream places (and our home) are dog-friendly!
