Description

Oceanfront cottage on Spring Hill Beach with a large deck to sit directly at the ocean and a side porch to sit and view the ever-changing tidal marsh. This cottage has a galley-styled kitchen with bright white cabinets, granite tops, and a new wood floor. Views from every room of this Cape Cod home with three bedrooms, bathroom with shower, cathedral ceiling, and ceiling fan in the living room plus a wood burning stove. Two of the bedrooms have marsh-side views and are two small steps down from the main level. Step out your door, walk to your private dune top deck, or take the path to your place on the sand and soak up the views. Enclosed is hot and cold water outside the shower. Enter the kitchen and then towards the dining table for 6 with lots of windows and views of the beach. The dining/living room has high ceilings and wood floors with a wood-burning stove. Queen sized bedroom is off the living room and bath is just next to that. Step down one step to two bedrooms each with 2 twins. Off to the side of the living room is a sliding glass door to the side porch to relax and watch the tides of the salt marsh across the street.

Very private as you drive up to this cottage. No homes across from it, only the gorgeous ever-changing salt marsh. Wooden boardwalk on the side of the cottage that leads up to the dune-top waterfront deck. Enclosed hot and cold water shower with easy access.

Heating for the spring & fall & A/C Wall units that cool the whole house.

Response from the manager We are sorry you didn't enjoy the property and we encourage all guests as bolded on the check in instructions to call the office right away if there are any problems with the houses immediately or at any time during their stay. We are only minutes from these properties have 24 hour service and rush out to make repairs or satisfy any complaint quickly. From our notes I see that you did complain about the clutter only after you had taken care of cleaning it yourself and did not want us to send the owners cleaners to take care of your complaints. The owner is aware of your complaint and is also upset that it happened as it was her family that stayed before you and was supposed to leave in in a check in ready state for your arrival. Although we try very hard to make sure owners adhere to a minimum level of amenities and readiness, some times a property is inadvertently not as ready as it should be and we apologize. We will however do our best to remedy such problems quickly if they do arise. This house is a cottage directly on a fantastic beach and the owners have made several large investments over the past years to make it comfortable and modern including a new kitchen and whole house air conditioning. After this review the owner took it to heart to remove some personal property from the home to make more room for guests stuff. This home has been rented for many years without complaint We as the rental agent want you to know that we will do anything we can to make good on anything that you don't feel that you are promised when renting any of our properties.
