4BR + Den / 4BA (1K, 2Q, 2S + trundles, SS) -Sleeps 12 - This outstanding beach front house is beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you need for a perfect Edisto Beach vacation. The first floor has a large open floor plan including the living, dining and kitchen areas, complete with wet bar and game table. The great room overlooks the Atlantic and opens out onto a large screen porch. There is a back hallway on this floor that leads to a bedroom with a queen size bed(there is a vanity sink in this room!). This connects to full hall bath(tub/shower combination). Upstairs you will find 3 more bedrooms and a sleeping den. The den is located beach side and has a game table, sleeper sofa, and TV. This room opens onto a deck overlooking the beach. The master bedroom, to the right upstairs, has a king size bed and overlooks the ocean as well. There is a private bath with a large walk-in shower adjourning the master. This room also opens onto the 2nd floor deck. On the Palmetto Blvd side of this floor is a bedroom with a queen bed, a private bath(shower only) and a small covered porch overlooking Palmetto Blvd. There is also a nice wet bar area beyond this bath that opens to the hall next to the den upstairs. The other bedroom upstairs has 2 trundle beds (sleeps 4) and a private bath(tub/shower). All bedrooms in this home have TV's. You could not ask for a nicer vacation home than Blue Crab Inn. Response from the manager Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your recent vacation on Edisto Beach. "Blue Crab Inn" has been such a popular house ever since it was built. I will pass on your comments about the kitchen to the owners- they also love to cook!. I am sorry about the cleaning issues and please whenever you rent a home from Edisto Realty that you call us right away with any issues you find. We have now added the elevator key to the key ring - I guess we never realized it took a separate key to unlock the door. There are several other golf cart rentals companies to choose from on your next visit - please ask us for recommendations. You can cross Palmetto Blvd to access the side street and then travel on Jungle, Myrtle or Docksite Roads to get around Edisto Beach - you just can not drive up and down Palmetto Blvd due to the amount of car traffic, bicycles and people. We must eat lunch from the Sea Cow at least 3 days a week - yummy! We look forward to your next Edisto visit.
