Welcome to beautiful Endless Views on Edisto Island! Relax on forty acres of private waterfront property: a one-of-a-kind experience! Located on a peninsula between two large waterways that connect to the intracoastal waterway, this property enjoys fresh breezes, gorgeous sunrises, and an endless view over miles of marsh grasses, with sailboats in the distance along the Intracoastal Waterway. Endless Views is one of only two houses on the 40 acre property, you will feel very secluded once you pass the electric gate on the private road (private for last mile) and enter the property and thousands of acres of wetlands that surround it. Walk or ride the golf cart 100 yards along the marshfront to the deepwater dock, boat ramp, and great fishing. You will love this beautiful, isolated, and natural location.
This property offers more than a typical beach vacation. Explore land and sea using the property's bikes and two fishing kayaks and one double kayak (life jackets provided). Take leisurely walks down country roads and forest paths. Immerse yourself in the unique nature and beauty of the Low Country's rich tidal creeks and marshes.
Often, our guests plan to visit the many attractions on and around Edisto Island, but they're so relaxed that they rarely leave the property! After a walk or bike ride down the private dirt road (we provide bikes and a golf cart), or a serene kayak along the creeks, you'll be content to hang out on the porch, in shade or sun, with a cool glass of iced tea and a good book. Even though there are fun restaurants on the island but for most meals, we prefer buy or catch fresh seafood and buying or picking vegetables to cook for ourselves. We especially like to eat the fresh crab that we catch off the dock and the fish we catch in the creeks. There is an excellent golf course on the Island, which will satisfy the most discriminating golfer. Anglers can catch a variety of fish right off our dock, or take your boat or use the two fishing kayaks (that come with the house) to enjoy some of the finest fishing on Edisto Island. We have had success with shrimp, minnows and pink and white jigs (although fishing varies by season and tides), and you can use a minnow trap or shrimp net to catch live bait.
Bird watching and the sounds of nature are captivating on SanRuss Point: birds flying over wetlands that stretch as far as the eye can see; dolphins swimming in the creeks; bald eagles, woodstorks (in spring), and woodpeckers, as well as a countless number of waterbirds. You can see lots of nature walking around the property and if you walk up the mile up the private road - you will see flocks of birds near the gate in the salt water lakes. Enjoy catching crabs of the dock (crabs can be caught all year round although some seasons are better than others) - you are welcome to use our crab traps or simply a string and weight. Guests are welcome to use the property's golf cart for exploration of the property and to carry items to and from the boat dock. If you need something, just call us or the property's handyman and generally we can attend to your needs right away.
By car, you can explore Edisto Island's historic churches and plantations, state parks, and unique activities such as the Edisto Island Serpentarium (open April-October), Bingo Nights at the Lions Club (summer only), strawberry and blueberry picking (May to early July). Edisto Beach State Park and Botany Bay Plantation beach are a short drive down Hwy. 174. Enjoy a day at the beach and then come home the the beautiful endless views. While at the beach, we recommend the SeaCow Eatery for a casual meal. Visit Edisto's 4,360-acre Botany Bay Plantation. Kings Market, a few miles up Hwy. 174, sells wonderful produce and boiled peanuts (in season). Enjoy Low Country barbecue at Po' Pigs BBQ on Hwy. 174. Buy fresh shrimp and fish at Flowers Seafood, or other local seafood stores. Via motorboat, you can take a 20-30 minute trip to remote beaches such as Deveaux Bank at the mouth of the Edisto River, or eat lunch at Bohicket Marina on Seabrook Island. There is an excellent golf course at the end of Edisto Island, in the Wyndham Resort. Take advantage of local attractions include kayak tours, fishing guides, and shrimp boat charters. Further afield, explore the ACE Basin, Cypress Gardens, Middleton Place and Magnolia Plantation, and of course, the beautiful town of Charleston.http://bit.ly/1Clm2yt...Read more

Additional Location Information
The house is located on a part of Edisto called Little Edisto Island. The Low Property originally resulted from a Lord Proprietor's grant to Joseph Russell in 1710. Joseph Russell received the 570-acre grant for the eastern section of little Edisto (the majority of the difference in size between the grant and that of Endless Views is because we do not include the vast marshlands) In the 1700s our land was called the Ash Plantation. Endless Views is the Eastern half of Little Edisto Island which is between Russell and Sand Creek (7604 Russell Creek Road, 29438 for Google Maps satellite view).

This property was everything we had hoped for. We came with 3 little girls ages 5 to 8 and they had a blast.
The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. Our girls all cried when we had to leave. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. We went crabbing off of the dock and fishing. Collected oysters and clams for meals and they even allowed us to use a couple fish tanks for the girls to watch the wild life we found for a little bit.
The house set up is great for families as the main living building is separated from the bed rooms by short walk ways... We could put the kids to bed and then have adult time playing games and chatting in the main living area.
The trampoline is in great condition and the girls loved it as well as the Zip line.
If you want to get away from crowds... want to feel safe and secure with your children... want to relax and enjoy beautiful views this is the place for you.
Though the beaches are plenty close we only spent 6 hours total there because there was so much to do and experience on the property.
I just want to again extend our sincerest gratitude to the owners of this place.

We had a great stay at this house. It is located at the end of a dirt road so there is lots of privacy and wildlife. The owners live down there too but this was not a problem. The dock was great, the water is amazing, the views are beautiful and extensive. There is a hottub on the deck and everything you need in the house. The house is set up with 3 pods connected by decks so the masterbedroom is its own little oasis. TV, internet, linens, cleanliness, it was all great. Edisto Beach is down the road about 20minutes and it is a lovely beach with lots of shells. Of course, if you bring your boat you can go to secluded beaches on your own. They say the fishing is really good too but we did not try this. Overall, it is a great spot to get away. If you like lots of arcades or restaurants this is not the place for you. But if you want idealic views and relaxation this is the place.
