Elgin and its well-known wineries, Sonoita with its restaurants and small shops and Patagonia with its eclectic art galleries and restaurants and the Tree of Life Center are about 20 minutes away. There are endless opportunities for hiking, biking, going birding in one of the world’s top bird-watching destinations, visiting sites of the Old West like Bisbee, Tombstone and the nearby Empire Ranch, or enjoy the Mexican heritage of the world-known Mission at San Xavier . The museum at Fort Huachuca is one of its kind with its focus on the Buffalo Soldiers.
