Relax, Renew, and Rejuvenate at Ye Olde Manor House. Luxuriate in our eight well-appointed guest rooms surrounded by plush furnishings and beautiful antiques. Stroll around our three acres of lush greenery and lovely gardens. Relax by our outdoor and indoor fish ponds and swim in our indoor heated swimming pool year round. We have eight tastefully appointed guest rooms, each with a private bath, fluffy bath towels and robes, and customized soaps and lotions. Each room has a lovely view of our landscaped grounds. Located just outside of Elkhorn, Wisconsin and across the road from the 900 acre sparkling Lauderdale Lakes, Ye Olde Manor House is the perfect spot for a quick getaway or a longer stay. We have access to a sandy beach on nearby Pleasant Lake, a boat launch on Lauderdale Lakes, and biking, hiking, and cross country skiing in the nearby Kettle Moraine State Forest. Alpine Valley, only minutes away, offers downhill skiing in the snowy winter months and a renowned music venue, in the summer months. There are stables nearby where you can go horseback riding and we are in close proximity to several golf courses. Quaint towns with interesting antique shops and antique fairs, county fairs, friendly cafes, and wonderful markets are just a quick drive away. There are many fine restaurants within a few minutes drive and the Friday night fish fry is a local tradition. We have the perfect setting for small and large gatherings ~ romantic getaways, weddings, family and friends gatherings, reunions, scrap booking, spa weekends, office retreats, church retreats, and the like. We can develop customized visits so that you can pursue your hearts' desires during your stay at Ye Olde Manor House. Our goal is to help our guests live a charmed life during your stay with us. We are licensed by the State of Wisconsin to accommodate up to twenty people. We have a 5 star rating with Trip Advisor. The reservation of Ye Olde Manor House provides exclusive use of all guest rooms, all common areas (living room, dining room, atrium, pool room, gathering room), all outdoor spaces and includes a full gourmet breakfast each morning. We have a dormsize refridgerator, keurig coffee maker (with coffee pods, creamer and sweetners), a charcoal smoker/grill, large cooler and outdoor sink that guests can use during their visit.

Getting around

We now have Uber and Lyft in the area; otherwise driving your own vehicle is the most cost efficient way to get around the area.

Interaction with guest

We greet guests when they arrive and take them on a tour of the house. Beyond that we try to stay out of the way to provide privacy to our guests. We live on the property but our living quarters are on the periphery of the building and we have a private entry and exit. Guests generally won't see us outside of breakfast unless they knock on our door or call us. We are available if guests have questions.

Weather was great, house, bedrooms, everything, was perfect. Karen and John were there for anything we needed, and offered great advice on places to go, and to eat. We will be back!
