Dales delight!

Left on Dec 05, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

The owners were next door and very helpful. the house was clean and well equipped and we were very comfortable.
The house is set off the main road in a lovely village with walks from the door, plus the steam train too. Also, it was handy to drive into Skipton (or there is a bus) for shopping and sightseeing. There is a large, old well preserved castle there, and the canal runs through it too.

A practical location

Left on Mar 02, 2011 for a stay in January 2011

A well equipped cottage offering value for money but not really suitable for a luxurious experience. The cottage was warm but basic and could have been cleaner but if people must take dogs on holiday then probably OK.

Good place to be.

Left on May 06, 2011 for a stay in February 2011

The setting was perfect - in the country but near the lovely market town of Skipton, which had all you would need. Also the surrounding scenery was spectacular. We have lived in the area so it was lovely to be back. The owners, living next door, were grand people - nice and friendly. The bungalow was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Just one thing - not a big problem but if no-one …
