Cottage, 3 BR, 3 B. Q * Q * Q * 2Q. Island Club linen service with beds made and No Worries Triple Sheeted Beds. Completely renovated in 2020 with new furnishings and flooring and new kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances. All bedrooms are oceanfront. Dishwasher, water softener, washer/dryer, 5 Smart TVs (1 with cable), 3 DVD players, wireless high speed Internet access, ceiling fans throughout. Covered porch, upper and lower decks with rockers and picnic table, 2 outside showers (1 enclosed hot/cold). Three-night minimum. Available year-round. No smoking. Small, housetrained pets allowed with $80 non-refundable fee per pet (2 maximum). 811 Ocean Drive.

Emerald Isle Realty's housekeeping staff strives for excellence and while our check in time is 4 p.m., sometimes the hours between 4 and 6 p.m. are needed to thoroughly ready the cottage for your family's vacation. As for the issues with internet and television services, most often to correct such service problems our technicians have to work with the cable company. This can cause delays in service time, and I am sorry that we failed to meet your expectations in this area. Thank you again for your feedback. I hope you and your family were able to create warm and wonderful memories from your beach vacation, and I hope you will stay with us again.

Response from the manager I am in receipt of your letter regarding your stay and experience at Surf Neptune. I’d first like to thank you for bringing to my attention the several maintenance issues which you encountered. Certainly, had you let us know about these issues during your stay, we would have worked diligently to remedy them for you. I will tell you that yours is not the typical experience had by guests of Surf Neptune. I have reviewed our maintenance records and none of the items which you listed have been reported during this rental season. The maintenance issues and concerns which you experienced are all fairly easy, quick fixes. I understand that you expect to arrive to your vacation home and be worry free throughout your stay but if we aren’t notified of maintenance issues as you experience them, we don’t have the opportunity to remedy them for you. I have reported to our maintenance department the upstairs deck door which is difficult to open and close, the missing knob on the range hood, the loose knob on the bathtub, the broken blind in the second bedroom, the rinse off station faucet, and the beach access and deck wood and construction. I trust these items will be addressed and remedied quickly. Our maintenance department routinely visits properties to pound down any loose or popped up nails and we’re happy to do this at your request, during your stay. Surf Neptune does not advertise a grill but to let you know, for an additional fee we can add a grill to any property which doesn’t provide one. Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay with us. I hope you will decide to vacation with Emerald Isle Realty when you revisit the Crystal Coast.
