Silver Peaks was the highlight home of our 2 week end of summer vacation to Montana! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us to have our own space and not be on top of each other...My Husband and I, along with our 2 daughters (ages 4 and 6), my Husband's Parents and his Sister all went out for his cousin's wedding in West Yellowstone...from the last few days of July,2013-the 2nd week of august, 2013. The view, the accommodations, the customer service, the cleanliness, the location, and the gorgeous home, far exceeded our expectations! ( and surpassed by far, the home, and rental agency, we used for the second half of our trip in Island Park, Idaho!). We would love to stay at Silver Peaks again, if we make the trip back in the future! The courteous staff is top notch, and even called to make sure, we had made it in safely, and that we were enjoying our stay! Hands down, the best rental experience, we have ever had, in all of our travels over the past 10 years!!! Thank you Mountain Home-Montana Vacation Rentals, and Owners of Silver Peaks, for making our trip, not only memorable, but wonderful!!!

This home has a beautiful view of Emigrant Peak. This location worked perfectly for us as our son and his family live in the area and it gave us opportunity to spend more time together when our daughters and some of their families spent time here in the area. Saved us the 30 mile drive down the Paradise Valley from Livingston where our home is. We weren't able to spend time on the deck enjoying the view because of the cooler temps but we surely enjoyed it from around the fireplace.

Silver Peaks was very comfortable and featured an open dining room, family room and kitchen area. The bedrooms were good sized and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. We were only 30 minutes from the north entrance to Yellowstone and enjoyed the daily trips into the park. The views from the back deck were beautiful during the day and at night, the stars came out to finish our day!

We spent six days and five nights at this wonderful home. We had a very relaxing and inspiring time. The home is nicely decorated, with a very open floor plan on the main floor, and amazing views of the Yellowstone river valley.
We've got four boys so staying at a hotel means at least two separate rooms and then lots of eating out. Staying in this home allowed us to have lots of space and cook our own meals. It probably saved us money.
It took us about 40 minutes to drive from the house to the entrance of Yellowstone park each day, but that was a small price to pay for the beautiful accommodations. We would definitely stay there again.
Internet was too slow for any video, but fine for email and simple browsing. No TV on the main floor, just downstairs, but that was great as our family ended up playing games in the evening.
The Jacuzzi Tub in the master bedroom was a big hit with my wife and my two youngest boys (6 and 8).

My mother and I along with my boyfriend and his family enjoyed this home very much for our vacation. The home is well maintained and has the most beautiful view of the mountains you could ask for. This house is about a 25 minute drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone and away from all the tourists!! The beds are comfy, the master bedroom upstairs has an amazing bath with the gorgeous view of the mountains. The house has everything you could need in the Kitchen. There is nothing bad to say about this house. There is only one TV downstairs, but none of us even wanted to be inside. It's close to the Yellowstone River which has amazing fishing for Rainbows and Brown Trout, but some of the good spots aren't easy to access and requires some climbing down and over rocks. We also went up to Bozeman and enjoyed seeing Brutus the Grizzly Bear at the Grizzly Bear Encounter. We highly recommend this house and will be back again another year!

We live in Colorado and have a mountain house ourselves; needless to say we are accustomed to some beautiful views. We greatly enjoyed the impressive view from the Silver Peaks house while drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and grilling our dinner each evening. In addition to the view, the home is clean and is decorated nicely. The paint, trim and carpet of the house are in very good condition and it feels much like a newer home. The kitchen is very large as was the master bedroom/bathroom. There is a beautiful gas fireplace and hearth. Lastly the house was easy to find and the management company was easy to work with.
The only item that was a little of a disappointment was the downstairs TV room (this is not to say anything was misrepresented, as it wasn't). We don't watch a lot of TV so it feels odd to comment on this; however, for how nice the entire house was the TV room was not well-suited for relaxing at the end of a busy day to enjoy a show. We ended up watching a movie on our laptop in bed as the furniture and the arrangement of the TV room wasn't comfortable.
Also, a small investment in some new frying pans would be appreciated as the non-stick finish is worn off the two skillets provided in the kitchen.
Although we had two little gripes, we would certainly highly recommend the Silver Peaks house.
We used this house as a base-camp to explore Yellowstone. Be advised the house is about 30 minutes from the north entrance of Yellowstone. We liked it because it is nice to be away from tourists and the gigantic tour buses. However, the days we spent in Yellowstone were long driving days and you may want to start early and plan accordingly. If you like quiet, nature and open spaces, this is the place for you.

Silver Peaks is the ideal location for visiting Yellowstone and surrounding area. The house has everything you could wish for. The views are stunning and the joy of seeing elk and mountain bluebirds from the deck was amazing. Chico Hot Springs is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

This, our 1st trip to Montana, was made to attend our nephew's wedding.
Please note that the drive to this house takes you over several miles of dusty, dirt roads.
Upon arrival, we found the lock box a bit tricky to work. Finally, we opened the door to a lovely, well cared for home with a breathtaking view of Paradise Valley and Emigrant Peak. The property was spotlessly clean and large enough to comfortably accomodate all seven of us. The kitchen was especially large and we all had fun cooking and grilling.
Working with the staff of Montana Homes-Montana Vacation Rentals went very smoothly and we won't hesitate to rent through them again if the trail takes us "Out West" again.
