Official site of EL CASTILLO DE ESPARZA is Costa Rica's premier private villa rental. You and your family and friends can now enjoy the exclusive use of El Castillo with its friendly staff of eleven professionals led by General Manager Henry Denzler.
Located on 4 walled and lushly landscaped acres, El Castillo offers a wide array of activities right on the property. Six buildings on the property offer 10 bedrooms, outdoor dining rancho by the pool, pool bar, three story spa tower, and two guest houses. On site activities include a large pool and Jacuzzi, tennis court, water slide, golf greens and chipping areas. Two large verandas at the Main House overlook the Gulf of Nicoya, the mountains, and the ocean with spectacular sunsets beyond. They are perfect for cocktails and outdoor dining. Our Main House dining room comfortably seats twenty, and the Pool rancho has seating for up to 28 guests.
For your family and friends vacation, our staff can arrange entertainment including a private fireworks display, live contemporary bands for dancing and listening, local duos and mariachi bands and Costa Rican Carnival night all performed right on the Castillo property.
El Castillo has 24 hour high speed cable internet with wireless service, free phone service to and from the United States, and flat screen televisions with cable programming.
El Castillo is centrally located about an hour from the San Jose International Airport, and provides easy access to all the activities and adventures Costa Rica has to offer: Some of the best Deep Sea Fishing in the world, white water rafting, the WORLD FAMOUS Crocodile River Adventure, canopy tours through the rain forest, or a tour of a coffee plantation - all within easy air conditioned travel from El Castillo.

El Castillo de Esparza is strategically located close by many of the most popular natural attractions of Costa Rica. El Castillo is located just over an hour from the San Jose International Airport via the new highway, opened just last year.
From here, you can explore beaches and rainforests as well as casinos and golf courses. Scuba diving, hiking, canopy tours, horseback riding, coffee farm tours, world class sport fishing and river rafting are all accessible from El Castillo, and most are within an hour's drive or less. If Henry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
