Description
This stunning villa near Volterra is located in the hamlet of Fabbrica, a tiny medieval village. It sits on top of a hill overlooking a magnificent scenery of vineyards, olive groves and gently rolling hills surrounding the town of Volterra.
This elegant holiday accommodation was built in the 19th century following the art nouveau style and has been carefully restored maintaining its original architecture. Furnished in extremely good taste, with genuine 18th century furniture and objets d'art, the villa is enriched with precious decorations, paintings and original vaulted ceilings. It's an ideal villa with pool in Tuscany for a luxurious, relaxing holiday but also for visiting most Tuscan art centres.
The villa is 400 square meters and can comfortably accommodate up to 13 people. It is on two floors consisting of a fully equipped built-in kitchen, store room, living room with stone fireplace, big frescoed drawing room, dining room with a large crystal table, library, 1 double bedroom and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
A stone and wrought iron staircase leads to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms , two twin/double bedrooms ( in three of these rooms it is possible to add a single bed for children), a bathroom with tub/shower and another bathroom with shower.
Outside the kitchen and the living room is a spacious stone floor loggia equipped with table and chairs for outdoor meals and a large garden with a beautiful view over surrounding hills covered in vineyards. Stairs lead to another garden with two imposing lime trees and a swimming pool (12x4 mt, depth 1,30mt, open May-Oct) with Jacuzzi corner, secluded by a tufa wall, which provides absolute privacy, and with a breathtaking view. Pets accepted.
At guest's disposal internet wi fi, Sat tv, children playground, barbecue.
Distances: shops, restaurants in the village just 1 minute walking distance. San Gimignano 30 Km, Volterra 25 Km, Pisa (Airport) 50 Km, Florence (Airport) 70km, Lucca 65 Km, Casciana Terme (Thermal and Spa water) 25 Km, Siena ca 70 Km. The sea and the beaches are at ca. 50km.
