Tropical Beachfront Vacation Condo Fajardo, Puerto Rico
Additional Location Information
If you want a beach vacation this is the place. The condo is across the street from one of the best beaches on the island: Seven Seas. You can see it from the third level terrace. In less than three minutes you can cross the rural road and to your left is the "balneario" or government managed beach. There are palm trees to provide shade, golden sands, and opportunity to rent equipment for water sports. To the right is another free access beach with rock formations where you can do snorkeling at your own risk. Almost every night you can rent kayaks for a tour to the bioluminiscent bay, a marvelous experience when it is a dark or cloudy night. At Las Croabas Village you can find restaurants, kiosks of seafood and souvenirs. Also, as you come into Fajardo, on Road #3, you will see a Mexican restaurant by the name of Lolita's. It is excellent. There's a rustic place called El Faro near the condo, and as you walk out of the condo to the right into the village, you will see other rustic places to eat dinner or a snack. You can also eat at El Conquistador Hotel.

My adult son and I stayed here over Christmas and can recommend it highly. The condo itself was perfect, everything worked including the wifi, and grilling on the rooftop patio was spectacular. It is not really beachfront; there is a row of house trailers directly across the road blocking the beach. However, by walking 100 meters west you reach Seven Seas Beach, which is a terrific beach: gentle waves, trees near the water for hammocks, clean and uncrowded. Also you can see the bay from the rooftop, a beautiful view. There are some good restaurants along the access road. The bioluminescent lagoon at Las Croabas (go on the night kayaking tour!) is very close. Take the Cabezas wildlife reserve tour, entrance is walking distance. Rent a mountain bike and take the trail beyond the beach into the forest, rough trail but takes you to more small, pretty beaches, or you can hike. The condo is about 3 miles from the main Highway 3 so buy groceries, etc there; you will need a car for that and to visit the rain forest or Old San Juan. This is much more fun than staying in a high-rise on Carolina beach. One tip: if you want to go to Culebra or Vieques on the ferry from Fajardo, book online at least 2 weeks early; you cannot just walk on- it is very full. Personnel were very pleasant.

This was an awesome vacation. The house is gorgeous, we fell in love with it. Fajardo is a Beautiful place to stay in Puerto Rico. My family which was my husband three daughters, my mom, nephew, niece and brother in law stayed here. the house was so comfortable. we enjoyed the rooftop balcony. Clean beautiful home. Vanessa was amazing she was there to greet us. She helped with any questions we had. She is a beautiful person and so glad to have met her. We did not want to leave. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Visit Luquillo beach and be aware the ferry is very unpredictable we ended up staying at vieques since the ferry departed late it would have been a wasted day. Vieques does have beautiful beaches. Icacos island is goregeous so is Palomino. Ralphs supermarket and Cvs has everything you need. use your gps on phone much better than the car rental ones. tmobile service no good out there only on mainland or ferry other wise you lose service. Verizon and At+T work great. Careful using bank cards, even with the visa logo on the small street vendors numbers tend to get stolen. Use major credit cards or cash. lots of location to eat out. Love my home land, broke my heart to have to leave. this was not the end of our vacation this is only the beginning for we will be back. Thank you Nuria for everything :-)
“This was the perfect condo in the perfect location. Great vacation spot!!”

My husband and I stayed here with my parents and siblings and we had a wonderful time
! It was clean, up-to-date, spacious, and located in a great spot. Just across the street there is a great beach to relax at and there is also a pool in the housing complex. Another huge plus is that it is close to the port where you can take a ferry to Culebra or Vieques for the day. We went to Culebra and absolutely loved it. We would rate this as one of our top vacations and would love to return!!
