Additional Location Information

Port Pendennis is a supremely peaceful location with beautifully landscaped gardens that attract a variety of songbirds. The National Maritime Museum, and Events Square with its famous festivals, are minutes’ walk away, and 15 minutes of level walking takes you through the town with its many excellent pubs and restaurants, ferry docks, galleries, antique shops and, of course, provisions.

In the other direction, an easy walk along the picturesque pathways takes to you Pendennis Castle, the Ships and Castles Leisure Centre or Falmouth’s three beaches and the lovely town gardens, which whet the appetite for visiting the spectacular formal gardens nearby. Alternatively explore the waterways by ferry or seasonal boat tour, sailboat or kayak. And, as an easy day trip, visit any of Cornwall’s famous sites, from Tintagel and the Eden Project to the Minack Theatre, the Men-an-Tol, St. Michael's Mount and Land's End – or even take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly!
