Description
Situated just a 2min walk away from the beach Palm Beach is in an ideal location. A 5min walk will take you to the start of the many bars, restaurants and hotels on the promenade.
Palm Beach itself is contained in its own secure area consisting of 6 blocks totalling approx 36 apartments. In my view C1 is the best located of all to the large shared outdoor pool. There are many sun-loungers, parasols and tables freely available all within beautifully manicured gardens.
Apartment C1 is a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment which is fully air-conditioned throughout. The kitchen has all the mod cons you'll need.
The dining area has a 4 seater table with chairs while the balcony off the dining room has a large 6 seater table with chairs.
The lounge are has a 3 seater sofa-bed with 2 arm chairs. T.V. & media player with 1000's of hours of entertainment. Air Con Unit, Pedestal Fan.
The bathroom consists of a shower area, toilet and handbasin with illuminated mirror.
Bedroom 1 with Double bed large wardrobe, bedside cabinet and large balcony. Hair Dryer, Hair Straighteners, Iron, Ironing board. Air Con Unit, Pedestal Fan.
Bedroom 2 Bunk-beds, wardrobe, blanket box and tall wall-mounted mirror. Air Con Unit, Pedestal Fan.

“Great apartment in a convenient location”
We have been staying in Calis Beach for over 10 years at a different complex but this was our first stay at Palm Beach and we were not disappointed. The apartment itself had everything we needed and is well equipped with full size cooker, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle etc. Bedding and towels were included including towels for the pool which was a great bonus! I was also thrilled to find the apartment had a really large level access shower as other apartments we have been to previously had a tiny shower with a really high step. There are also loads of films and tv series to watch on the TV in the lounge and lots of books available if needed. A large sofa and two armchairs plus a dining table an stools mean there is plenty of seating indoors too. There are two balconies, one off the main bedroom and the other one from the lounge/kitchen area overlooking the pool and the very well-tended gardens where you can eat or relax at the table and with six chairs. There is a gate from the balcony leading to three steps down and you are then literally just four steps away from the beautifully clean pool which I was pleased to find has steps into it rather than ladders. Phil the owner was extremely helpful both before and during the holiday. He arranged our taxi transfers from and to the airport at a very reasonable rate and was quick to answer any questions we had. Our transfer was seamless and there was someone there to greet us with the keys and show us the apartment even though we arrived pretty late at night. As I am unable to walk too far I found the apartment so convenient! It is extremely close to the promenade, sea front, bars and restaurants, within a few hundred metres of several small supermarkets and the local Dolmus bus service literally stops right outside. If you are new to Turkey, do use the Dolmus buses as it is an amazing way to get around and so very cheap. You can either pay cash in lire, tap your credit/debit card or get a bus card from a little convenience store opposite the pharmacy (at the other end of town) which you load with however much lire you want and this will save 2 lire a trip. Currently the flat adult fare converts to under 50p which will take you right into Fethiye. You can also use the Dolmus from Fethiye bus terminal to visit other attractions such as Saklikent Gorge, Tslos, Oludoniz and the cable cars that will take you to the viewing platforms that the paragliders descend from. Would recommend taking the water taxi across to Fethiye which is a lovely alternative way to get there. Also highly recommend a day boat trip from the same place that you get the water taxi. I have my favourites but all the boats that run from this cooperative are excellent and you will get a full day out from around 09.15 – 17.00 including a wonderful lunch and stops at 3 or 4 bays for swimming and snorkelling in the beautiful clear waters all for around £20 per person. If you venture in the opposite direction to the promenade you will come across some more “bohemian” cafes and restaurants along the sea front and at the far end the surf centre where you can get a cool drink or meal and watch the windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing etc or have a go if wish! Most of these beachfront cafes offer free sunbeds as long as you buy something from them. There are also some bigger all-inclusive resorts along this section of Calis. Calis Beach is a wonderful resort, so friendly and always feels extremely safe here. If, like us, you return again and again you will be remembered by the restaurant owners and welcomed with open arms. I can highly recommend Palm Beach and Calis Beach for a wonderful holiday, we'll be back!!
