“Wonderful!” We've been to many places, but none as peaceful at Casa de Teca. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching and listening to the waves breaking on the Pacific shore. Especially the sunsets! The house has windows all around, which makes it very open to the natural world. We left our windows open at night, and it was cool and breezy. We were there in the rainy season, and we went to sleep listening to the rain falling on the roof. but most of the time the days were sunny, and on several of them it didn't rain at all! We walked on several beaches. We went to Rio Sierpe and saw a snake, a frog, monkeys, birds, and crocodiles. We went to a park and saw bolo balls; no legend or scientist has been able to figure out how these ancient artifacts were made. You'll love this place--peaceful with access to many "tourist" areas, without being in those crowded spaces itself. There's cooking facilities, a nice bathroom, and a wonderful view! It's relaxing and a place to learn about another culture all at the same time.
