Florence, Alabama is located 2 hours from Nashville, Memphis and Birmingham, a short drive from the Natchez Trace. Our downtown is being revitalized with many of the old buildings being restored to their original appearance and the opening of several new independent restaurants and shops. Florence is home to a Frank Lloyd Wright home that is open for tours. Ivy Green, home of Helen Keller is located nearby.

Being home to the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound, our area enjoys a rich musical history, with recordings made here by Percy Sledge, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and many more.There continues to be a deep musical heritage here, with such recent names as Drive-by Truckers, Civil Wars, Alabama Shakes, Secret Sisters emerging, plus much more local talent Local tours are available upon request.
