The luxury of a 5-star suite and the comfort and privacy of a private apartment in an ideal location
A bright and airy luxury apartment located in the heart of the historical center of Florence, in Via del Melarancio in the San Lorenzo neighborhood, 300 meters (less than a quarter of a mile) from the Santa Maria Novella central train station, and only 400 meters from Piazza del Duomo, the historic heart of this unparalleled Renaissance city. You can reach Via del Melarancio from the train station via a convenient underground gallery full of shops and services. Also within a short walk from the apartment are the church of Santa Maria Novella, a Gothic and Renaissance masterpiece, the church of San Lorenzo, the Central Market, with streets full of stalls selling handcrafted gifts and souvenirs, and the Medici Chapels, famous for tombs sculpted by Michelangelo.
The apartment is located on the second floor of an elegant historic building (with an elevator), formerly the 18th-century residence of Candida Quirina Mocenni, patron of the famous poet Ugo Foscolo, who was a frequent guest, as attested by the large marble plaque on the front door.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four people (two adults and two children, or three adults) and it consists of a large living room with kitchen area, a double bedroom, and a bathroom.
(email: hidden)ention has been paid to the furnishings and décor, which incorporate a unique, stylish mix of period antiques with sleek and modern design elements. The bathroom is entirely finished in slabs of golden Travertine marble. The bed and sofa, upholstered in white leather, and the steel-and-glass dining table were custom designed for the suite.
In addition to central heating and air conditioning, the apartment has a corner work area complete with a computer, WiFi, and a multifunction printer. You can also connect to the Internet from the 47-inch Smart TV for Skype calls and teleconferencing while comfortably seated on the sofa! The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, refrigerator, ice machine, and espresso machine as well as an American coffee maker and stovetop “moka” coffee pot for a good, old-fashioned Italian-style coffee. There are also complete sets of cookware, cutlery, tools, and various appliances (blender, kettle, toaster, etc.) to satisfy every need...even professional!
The bathroom, with a sink carved from a single block of gold Travertine, has a large “emotional shower” (it can host two people comfortably sitting) with color therapy, aromatherapy, waterfall, steam, and classic shower options. The shower stall itself can be turned into a Turkish Bath with colored-light therapy and aroma therapy.
In the heart of the historical center of Florence, in the San Lorenzo district, just a few steps from the central train station, and also reachable from the train station via a convenient pedestrian underpass full of shops, Via del Melarancio connects Santa Maria Novella church, a masterpiece of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, with Brunelleschi's San Lorenzo church and the Medici Chapels, famous for tombs sculpted by Michelangelo.
Within 200 meters (less than a quarter of a mile) there are numerous parking garages, so the location is ideal as a starting point for exploring the city on foot, and for trips -- by train or car -- all over Tuscany.
The San Lorenzo neighborhood is one of the oldest and most characteristic in the city center, with its famous daily market and handicraft shops, and it’s full of trattorias and restaurants. There are numerous historical palaces such as the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Palazzo Ginori, Palazzo Martelli, and Palazzo Pucci, all along the short walk to the Piazza del Duomo.

Outstanding! Don't let the outside fool you. Tucked down a quiet street in Central Florence is Suite Deluxe. A very contemporary apartment with antique furnishings, it's located on the second floor of a traditional Florentine building. (Lift in building). Renovated recently to the highest standard, it provides everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Washer/dryer, coffee machine and English speaking Sky channels are all bonuses. It's positioned well with only a street or two away from all the "must see" sights of Florence. The owner, Piero was very welcoming and helpful. He is always only a txt or phone call away if you need anything. If coming by train you are only a street or so away from the station. If driving you can reserve a Carpark one street over in Garage Giglio. This can be arranged prior to arrival
through Suite Deluxe. I highly recommend this apartment and it superseded all my expectations.

Extremely clean and beautifully appointed flat was perfectly situated to see the sights and visit the markets of Florence. The kitchen has every amenity and all appliances are new and top of the line. No need to scrub the pots before you cook here. The supermarket on the street and the market just around the corner provided us with the fresh ingredients for the best meals. There is even a toaster and a drip coffee maker if you prefer a non-Italian breakfast. Good restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The map and directions provided by our host got us on the right track quickly to see the sights. The neighbourhood is safe for an evening walk for a gelati or espresso. The bed was extremely comfortable with extra linens and towels provided. The heat in the flat was adjustable so that the rooms were always the right temperature. The best flat we have ever stayed in when on vacation.

An apartment in Florence is so much better than a hotel room. The Suite Deluxe apartment, though, is so much better than any other apartment.
It is situated in a historical building but it totally modern inside. Beautiful large bathroom, king size bed, sleek but comfortable furnishings, a compact but fully equipped kitchen, free wifi and TV. Piero will meet you just outside the building to take you inside and explain all the equipment to you. He was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Be sure to visit the restaurants he suggests. They are excellent.

This property was excellent with lots of attention to detail that was well appreciated. We stayed for 5 days in September. Spacious bedroom with nightstands and lamps, great bathroom with amazing steam shower, and a very well equipped kitchen. Within walking distance from the train station and the center of the city. The buildings from the train station to the apartment have a lot of graffiti but this building is very nice. Market is right next door so very convenient after a day of touring. Could walk everywhere from here.
“Well appointed comfortable apartment in the heart of Florence”

The great service began before we left home. Soon after completing our booking for the apartment the owner, Piero, sent us lots of information about the apartment and importantly good information about how to get to the apartment when we arrived in Florence.
The apartment is very well situated being a short walk from the railway station and within easy reach of the historic heart of Florence. A truly central base from which to explore Florence and to take day trips to Pisa, Siena , San Gimignano, Venice and the surrounding countryside.
The apartment itself is very comfortable, very well appointed and easily met all our requirements. We could not have been more pleased with it. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment ax a great place to stay in Florence, it is very good value for money and the owner is truly delightful and caring.

I was staying at suite deluxe in Florence
from first to 15th of august this year.
A fantastic and modern apartment in the heart of florence
with a brand new high level furnishing and really surprising
features like a steam sauna in the shower :-))
Not at all the usual "florentine style" with a lot of "patina".
The location is in one of the nicest areas in florence,
close to san lorenzo and walking distance to the railway station.
The guy who is running the place speaks perfectly english
and was extremely friendly and very helpful,
gave me a lot of good advices.
I enjoyed my stay so much and hope to be back very soon.
