It was great! We enjoyed being in the heart of Florence. We found things to be very accessible within walking distance. Piazza Santa Croce is a wonderful place and full of life.
We were three couples and early into our trip planning we decided to find a place that we could all be together relaxing or sitting together sharing the days events. The villa apartment provided just that and more. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and sharing an occasional meal "at home". We truly felt like we were living like the Italians.
The air conditioning systems were not the best. In a few of the rooms we had to leave windows open to vent the system, which defeated the purpose of using an air conditioner. End result was that it pulled on the electricity thus creating a large expense.
The beauty of the architecture and the rolling hills of Tuscany in the distance. With every turn there was a beautiful statue, church or a fresco.
