Our stay was great!! Weather was near perfect, condo was comfortable, well supplied and quiet. Wifi and all other items worked as expected. We will definately plan on another stay in 616 due to the above plus the conveience of the location on Okaloosa Island.
We are so glad you enjoyed your vacation with us. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We hope to see you again next year!!
“The condo was terrific but the weather was awful!”

We were very satisfied with the location and comfort of the condo. We had a party of 10 and plenty of room. All the amenities were available as promised. The only complaint was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, they felt the springs in their backs. Overall the condo was perfect and the view was awesome! We will definitely be back. Maybe the weather will be better next time, rained the entire time with the exception of only a few hours. We had waited all year for the Fl sunshine so that part was very disappointing!!!
We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. So sorry about the weather, we call this liquid sunshine, but that is out of our control, . Thanks for letting us know about the sleeper sofa mattress. We don't know when something is wrong unless guest like you bring it to our attention. We hope the weather will be better next time you come!!

This is the most we have ever paid for a condo in the gulf area and this was by far the worst condo we stayed in. The first night the bottom section of the fridge door broke off. The second night the power went out to the building. We just bought all of our groceries and had to put into coolers because we were not sure how long this would last. Thankfully it came on later in the night. The master bed has a huge kink in it and needs to be replaced. We had a nice expensive bottle of vodka in the freezer door and when I opened the door the door section fell off crashing the bottle to the floor. Not a happy camper at this time.
There were several other family members staying in the complex and their condos were far nicer than this one and less expensive.
I love this area and have been coming here for the past 12 years.
I'm sorry you encountered issues with Gulf Dunes Unit 616. This is one of our guest favorite units. Since it is a 3 bedroom unit it will be more expensive than a smaller unit. The power going out in the building was beyond our control. Had we known it was going to happen we would have called all of our guest to let them know. Thank you for bringing the bed and other issues to our attention, we are addressing these matters.
“Loved every minute of our stay.”

It was perfect for our family, the condo was beautiful and spacious. Our 2 youngest girls loved the bunk beds. The only real complaints I have are the pillows on the king size bed were rough. The smell from the green stuff in the water was unpleasant and stuck to everything. The dryer burnt our bathing suit strings cause they got caught in a crack. Other than those things which are petty our stay was fantastic!
We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The June grass comes in every year, but at different times. I never dry my bathing suits I always let them air dry. I know it's awful putting on a wet suit!! We hope to see you again next year!!

This our second stay at a Kim Lang rental in gulf dunes. Kim lang employees are so professional and easy to deal with. If you have any question, you can expect a prompt response. This is a very nice unit. Everything is exactly as presented. The kitchen is awesome. It has everything you need to cook a fantastic dinner. The covered parking is convenient. There is plenty of room for the whole family. My favorite part of the day is the morning and sunset on the balcony with the beautiful view. Grab a cup of coffee in the morning, a glass of wine in the evening and enjoy your vacation in gulf dunes 616.

Kimberly Lang made our reservation process quick and simple. After a few emails and two payments, we were counting the days until we could leave home & head to Fort Walton. Kimberly made sure we had all needed unit info before we left home, so our vacation began when we pulled into the Gulf Dunes parking garage & went directly to Unit 616. With an electronic lock, there was no need to make an extra stop for keys, etc.! Big Plus! Another invaluable asset of the property was the availability of carts in the parking garage to transport items to & from our vehicle. Instead of making countless trips before we could hit the beach, we were able to move all luggage & groceries from the car in 1 trip using the carts & elevators! Priceless! The condo was very clean and prepared for us. It was well-stocked with kitchen & laundry necessities, beach towels, toys for the kids and a towel swan in the master suite for a little extra "welcome". Helpful notes on the fridge explained beach flag warnings and gave us arrival/departure instructions. Access to the beach & pool was great...just an elevator ride & walking bridge away. The elevators were not fast, but they were reliable, always fairly available & got us to the beach, so we considered it a small price to pay for all the other positives of this unit. When we tore ourselves away from the beach, we were less than a mile from downtown Fort Walton. We made grocery runs, explored downtown and visited local businesses & eateries in a 5-minute trip from Gulf Dunes. When we were ready for mall shopping and more activities, we drove the opposite direction (about 5 miles) into Destin and enjoyed a day there. Gulf Dunes gives you the best of both beach worlds. A quaint but growing downtown Fort Walton is a mile and two turns away from the unit. Faster-paced, activity-packed Destin is about 5 miles & a bridge away. If neither of those tempt you, the beach is always waiting, right downstairs, just an elevator ride away.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Gulf Dunes. The building was well-kept and our
unit was very clean. View was amazing. The only complaints are: the bed in
the guest bedroom with double beds had a headboard that was not attached. It
hit the wall everytime someone moved in the bed. The dryer burned a large spot
on one of our swimsuits. We also noticed a leak under the sink. The vacation
as a whole was great! We loved the keyless entry, so easy when you have several
people staying in the unit.

Pros: beautiful rental, reasonable rate, awesome view, excellent location. Went with two old friends for a fun girls weekend. Minutes away from shops and restaurants, short drive to Destin for charter fishing, gorgeous well-kept beach that was never crowded, 2 pools on site, and the most amazing sunsets. All the conveniences of home. Plenty of linens etc. Loved our stay!
Cons: slow elevators, patio furniture needs replacement for size and comfort, master bedroom comforter had an odor so we did not use it, had difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi, double beds squeaked with every movement.
All in all the unit is nice. We each had our own bed. Perfect for 3 ladies but cannot imagine 10 people staying here for any amount of time as it says ut sleeps 10. It would be way too crowded.

We were looking for a place to get away on the beach, and while we were there enjoy the beach, the ocean, and some good seafood. The location was perfect and our condo was great! The master bedroom was large as well as the bathroom, and even though it was just my wife and I we were sorry we werent staying longer and had not invited our son and daughter and their spouses. The second bedroom had two large beds and another room had bunk beds. The second bathroom was full size. It was a very comfortable condo and everything looked as pictured and everything worked. We enjoyed sitting on the beach under the umbrella and just enjoying the peace. We will certainly consider coming back again and longer!

Although the weather was bad during our stay, the condo was very nice and comfortable. We had six people staying in condo and three relatives that visited daily that lived locally. There was plenty of seating, lots of dishes and glasses and towels. Everything was clean. The location of the beach was great. Parking was fine.
