Situated in the rural village of Damerham, just northwest of the picturesque town of Fordingbridge, Greenbanks provides peaceful self catering accommodation that gives its guests the perfect opportunity to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty, on the edge of the New Forest National Park. To ensure the peaceful relaxing break our guests are after it is our policy that we do not accept children of any age or pets. Greenbanks is ideal for two people and is fully equipped with everything you could need for a break in the country of walking, riding, cycling and more. If outdoor activities are not your cup of tea, this New Forest holiday apartment allows you to enjoy the spectacular views of the Damerham countryside from your very own balcony.The garden is alive with wildlife from badgers and deer, to our own chickens who will lay you fresh eggs for your breakfast. With the New Forest only 5 minutes drive away, Bournemouth and the south coast approximately 30 minutes in one direction and the medieval market city of Salisbury in the other Damerham makes an excellent base for your perfect getaway.You can enjoy wonderful sunrises or sunsets from your own balcony. Just turn up, relax and let your holiday begin.
Your accommodation has a patio at the front with a table and chairs. From the patio is the front door this leads into a fully equipped kitchen including a 4 ring ceramic hob, a full size oven and a microwave. There are stairs from the kitchen leading up to the rest of the accommodation.
There is a lovely big lounge with 2 comfortable settees and the dinning table and chairs. The television and DVD player are here as well as some dvds and books for you use. The double patio doors lead out onto your balcony giving you lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a table and chairs and reclining chairs to help you make the most of the space. Ideal for breakfast in the morning or watching the sunrise.
The other side of the stairs is the bedroom which has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables giving you plenty of storage space. A hairdryer is also supplied. The en-suite bathroom has a lovely deep bath for a relaxing soak at the end of the day with a shower over the bath. A few basic toiletries are supplied just in case you for get to pack something.
We have a large garden where our guests are welcome to have a wonder around or just sit and relax in one of the many benches or seats scattered around.We have our own chickens who you may see wondering around the garden, they lay fresh eggs daily for our guests and you are welcome to help yourself each morning....if that's not for you please just ask!
We also grow lots of fruit and vegetables from runner beans, carrots, broad beans, beetroot, peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries apples to name just a few, depending on the time of year and our guests are welcome to help themselves

Immaculate accommodation and a warm welcome with all the basic supplies you need, tea, coffee, sugar, fresh eggs and a bottle of wine. Great location. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

“A calm and tranquil place in which to relax”
The hosts clearly set out to provide an environment in which guests feel cared about and content. The furnishihngs are chosen for comfort and quality with that aim in mind. The provision of tomatoes from a full greenhouse and eggs from attentive hens is a bonus also for the well being of guests. This farming location provides easy and pleasant access to the New Forest and the south coast.
