We have stayed here several times and will definitley stay again! The house has been restored in a truly tasteful and authentic way. It's immaculatley clean, really comfy and the service is excellent. If you go in the summer months it is also really cool inside too. Above all, it is located in the most perfect position, right in the quaint square in Fornalutx. We often sit in one of the small bars in the square watching the world go by. The views are absolutley stunning and there are some really nice walks to do too. The beach in Soller is just a short drive away but we prefer to walk as the smell of the orange trees and olive trees is just delightful! We have been to many places all over the world but this has got to be one of our favourites!

This is an absolutely gorgeous house, we really loved our holiday there. We stayed over the New Year period in 2008/9 and even though it was out of season, there was always somewhere lovely to eat, in fact the restaurants took turns to open so there was a new menu to choose from most nights.
The village is very quaint and small but it has all the amenities you need; there's a bakery, pharmacy and a fab little village shop that seems to sell everything! This is all right on your doorstep as well as a number of bars and a pizza place on the square.
Whilst there are no downsides to the house at all, it is beautifully decorated and very homely, there is a small downside to the village in that parking can be a little difficult at times, but it usually only involves a small waiting time and something that you get accustomed too as part of the way of village life.
There are so many places to visit nearby or if you like touring around in the car like us, it is very easy to explore the whole of the north side of the island from the village in one day. You can travel through the most spectacular scenery, over and around mountains with breathtaking views around every corner. You then have the added bonus of a having a lovely house to come home to every night.
My personal favourite place in the house was the top floor bedroom where you can lie down and see all the stars through the roof window, it was so peaceful and tranquil, a world away from all the stress and noise back at home.
I now want to return when it is warmer and try out some of the amazing beaches we saw.
We thoroughly recommend anyone to stay at this pretty village house. We loved it.

Have stayed here twice, no hesitation in recommending; spotlessly clean and has a really nice feel. Great location, great people, great value! We didnt hire a care and had no problems getting around with a combination of walking and buses. Thoroughly relaxing and can't wait for the next time!

This was our third stay in Fornalutx and we have absolutely fallen in love with both the house and the village. Where do I start - from the minute you arrive and smell the clear pine air and see the incredible views of the hills you have this amazing feeling of 'being away from it all.' Life slows down and you have this feeling of being more than welcomed by the locals and village residents. The house is situated in the center of Fornalutx, you simply open the door and walk out onto the picturesque square where there is a lovely buzz of people sitting chatting over coffee. There is a gorgeous bakery, cafes, pizzeria, spanish tapas bar and various little shops to potter around. Immediately opposite the house is a fabulous restaurant and the atmosphere in the evening is wonderful and there are a number of restaurants withing walking distance if you venture out of the square itself.
The house is truly wonderful - it is a converted bakery on 3 floors, with breathtaking views from all rooms. It is bursting full of character but still feels calm and uncluttered and you could not get a better location. The house has been restored to an extremely high standard and everytime we have stayed there it has been absolutely spotless.
This really is a gem, we can't wait to go back again!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week last summer and had an amazing time. It was perfect for us as we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of London life but at the same time didn't want to be completely cut off
The house is in the perfect location, just opposite a restaurant and down from the main square. There are several great restaurants and bars in the area, and it's a really picturesque walk into the main town of Soller. The mountain views are out of this world too :o)
We would highly recommend the accommodation - Kate and Andrew were so helpful in the lead up to our holiday and gave us advice on where to go and what to see. The house is a good size and was impeccably clean when we arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and think it proves great value for money. We'll definitely be back!
