Description

This private garden level green smoke-free apartment situated on a small lake features its own private entrance, two bedrooms, living room, full bath with two sinks. Perfect for your family of four with privacy for you and real beds for the kids.

The apartment has a kitchenette that Includes a mini fridge, coffee maker, and sink. (Hosts like to stock some snacks for your convenience.)

The main bedroom features a new IKEA queen sided bed. The second bedroom features a trundle bed. Guests can use this as a single bed or pull out a second single bed hidden underneath. Convert the single to a king or set them apart. Perfect for kids. For a larger family there is a full size sofa b ed for 2 kids or one adult in the living room. Please note the cost varies by demand for specific dates and the number of guests, enter the correct number of guests to get an accurate quote.

Green features throughout including demand hot water heater, Energy Star appliances, CFL lighting, recycle bin, powered from wind and solar energy via the Fort Collins Utilities' Green Energy Program and the walkway to the unit is made of tiles made from recycled rubber.

Electric Vehicle charging is available (Level 2 6.6kW J1772 plug) that we use for our Nissan LEAF and our Chevy Bolt EVs.

The living room includes a large flat screen TV with local HD channels, Netflix, Youtube, a DVD player and connections for your laptop.

The apartment features a private entrance and on street parking, onsite laundry available and outdoor entertaining area with chiminea outdoor fireplace and access to the dock on the lake. Very high-speed wireless cable guest internet service is available along with access to a printer to print things like your boarding passes, maps and coupons.

The apartment is very private and locked off from the main house upstairs. Our level of engagement is up to you. if you need us for advice about local attractions or directions we are generally available as we both mostly work from home.

Denver attractions such as the Denver Convention Center, Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center, and the Denver Aquarium are about an hour away depending on traffic.

Other nearby attractions include Estes Park, home of Rocky Mountain National Park; Loveland location of the Benson Sculpture park and also featuring a world class art museum and quaint downtown area.

Convenient access to the Colorado and Wyoming Rocky Mountains such as the Roosevelt and Medicine Bow National Forests, Red Feather Lakes, Pawnee National Grassland and much more. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding or just a gorgeous ride through breathtaking scenery.

The Troutman MAX station is 3 minutes by car or a short 15 minute walk. The MAX runs North/South past shopping, Colorado State University, dining and breweries. Take it all the way to Old Town, Fort Collins, quaint location of local restaurants, shops, coffee houses and more. Old Town breweries include New Belgium, Odell, Black Bottle, Freedom’s Edge, Equinox, Funkwerks, Horse & Dragon, Zwei Bruder, Snowbank, Pateros Creek, 1933, C.B & Potts, CooperSmith's and The Fort Collins Brewery. Magic bus tours offers a tour of many of these micro breweries. The large Anheuser-Busch brewery is 15 minutes by car and offers free tours and a Biergarten.
