We had the best time. It was my children's first time staying at the beach and being able to stay so close. We have no complaints. We're planning to come back for spring break next year and hope to rent the same spot. If not sooner.

This was a great little unit. It was perfect for a family with a small child(ren). Our 3 year old adored the bunks, patio, close proximity to the pool and beach. The unit was extremely clean and well maintained for being oceanfront. Our only issues were the constant running of the water in the master bath toilet and the mild peeling of the ceiling over the shower. We also felt like the pillows in all the beds were a little worn out, but that is something that can be easily fixed. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was divine! Wifi was fast and perfect for streaming Netflix on our Roku player. The beach service was a little expensive. I would recommend just bringing your own chairs and umbrella to save a little bit of money. Overall, we all really felt like this condo made the trip. We're 100% planning on staying here again next year.

Very easy to locate and check in. Distance to publix and beach is awesome .
Unit has everything you need for beach stay. Any issue I brought to attention of management was handle quickly. Broken door handle which was repair within the hour. Kitchen light stopped working day before we left but I didn't need it fixed for our stay so I let them know about it for after we checked out. Didn't like the dishwasher ,first time I did dishes it took 3 times for the tablet to dissolve. Wasn't sure if it was me , cheap dishwasher , issue with dishwasher.
I didn't complain because dishes were not an issue for us I could restart 3 times if needed and I figured its just a cheap dishwasher. I'm sure if I had said something they would have handled it , it just wasn't a big deal to me. It may be to someone else staying there. The biggest issue we faced was spotty Internet contact. Limited our phone calls to bedroom or outside room front door for good connection and bedroom for grandchild to play on I pad. I also didn't really mind this to much except for our husbands trying to get in touch with us and not being able. I kinda like a technology disconnect from time to time:). I do think it would be a big issue for others. We never turned on the tvs while there so don't know how they worked. I really like this place and would be happy to stay again.

We enjoyed our time staying at the condo...
Negatives:please be aware that the wi-fi is horrible and cell phones do not work past the bedroom until you get out on the balcony. So if keeping in touch is important..I do not suggest here. The furniture is older but comfortable. The phone line inside the condo did not work either. We had to wait for the cleaning crew to finish upon our arrival before we could go in condo. (we arrived after check in time)
Positives: The condo's kitchen was very well stocked with dishes/pots and pans etc. The condo was very clean. The layout is conducive to having the family with you. The location is top notch. The view is limited from the balcony (pool view) but...you aren't there to sit on the balcony anyway are you? The washer and dryer are a big plus.
Overall we had a good time. Read more

What an awesome place to stay!!! Great location!! Great Price!! Felt like this was our home for the week. Would recommend this Condo to my family and friends. Would of loved to stayed longer!!! Our condo was the perfect location for us. Our daughter loves to be in the water as much as should could be. The location of the condo was direcly in the view of the pool. So when the adults needed a break from swimming we could keep an eye on her from our condo, which was right above the pool. We were close to the beach which we all loved!!! Ready to go back!!! This unit is exactly as described and the pictures are accurate. It is right over the pool, so you don't have any privacy on the deck, and it can be a bit loud in the evenings. However, if you have kids its great because you can watch them at the pool right from your deck. the unit has everything you need (although seating is only for 4), and I liked the key code entry so we didn't have to carry around a key. It is right next to the elevator if you want to use it, although it is on the 1st floor above the garage. Place is very close to the beach and we loved being able to go out to the beach whenever we wanted and run back to get food or something we forgot. There are beach chairs and an umbrella on the beach, but it is not included with this rental--wish it was! Otherwise, its between $20 and $26 a day to rent the chairs and umbrella units. There is only 1 shower, but 2 bathroom areas that connect on either side to the shower area--that was a bit tricky with us and 3 kids. I loved having a washer and dryer to use each evening when kids peeled off their beach clothes and towels. My only real complaint was that the sheets on the beds, specifically the master bed, are very scratchy and uncomfortable. And, the mattress seems to dip on either side with a bump in the middle. So, if the owners would splurge on nicer sheets, and even a new mattress, that would make sleeping much more comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and for the price, this was the perfect unit for us right on the beach. Read more

We were fortunate that the weather during our stay from March 15 to april 15 was pretty good and the one pool was heated. There were quite a few lovely beach days as well, and we could have the balcony doors open most of the time.
Pluses about this condo: The king size bed was very comfy, had a well equipped kitchen and 2 tv's - needed because my husband watched hockey almost every night! There are 2 powder rooms with toilet and vanity and when friends stayed for a couple of days that worked really well. The washer and dryer were a plus too.We enjoy this part of Florida and this was our 4th year in the area.
complaints: The biggest thing was that there was no house phone and cell reception was terrible - had to go outside in the parking lot for reception - very inconvenient! Our internet was fine when it got connected - took a number of days because a bill had not been paid. The floors were very sticky when we arrived and I had to wash them twice to remove (I think) the cleaning solution that they had not rinsed off. The balcony is right over the pool and so you have no privacy on it because it is at about eye level from the pool deck. Some weeks were very busy by the pool so we did not sit out there much till it quieted down. Plug ins are behind the bed in the bedroom so you can't plug in anything there. We seemed to have a number of maintenance issues when we got there -such as a lot of bugs in the light fixtures, a leaking toilet, garbureter leak, and of course the sticky floors and dirty corners. We also found the couch and chair were very uncomfortable to sit in, in the living room.
We would not stay in this unit again, perticularily due to there being no phone availble in the unit, and the total lack of privacy on the balcony. Also the front desk only manages 29 units in the buildings and so is not available for help when you are renting from another agency. This was the least comfortable unit we have stayed in, in 4 years. Read more
We're glad you found the bed so comfy - it's brand new! I'm sorry you didn't experience good cell reception, we've never heard that before from any other guests. I wish you would have given us a chance to correct the maintenance issues before you posted these - if any of our guests don't feel their unit is as clean as it can possibly be, we'll gladly send out a crew to make things right! Maybe since you stayed for a month during colder weather, small issues felt magnified? While we're not onsite, we're just a phone call away and on duty 24/7.

Condo was in a great location between destin & ft walton attractions. I could be making lunch & still see my teeanagers at the pool or on the beach. Lifeguard stand just over the dune. Grounds of complex were well kept & pool was clean & warm (March). Condo could use a deep cleaning of baseboards & tile but overall tidy. Master king bed is very comfortable but carpet in master "feels" worn out & dirty. Livingroom furniture isn't comfy or enough seating for gathering(sleeps 6 but seats 4). Overall a good value for an on the go family with teenagers but not a good pick if you have small toddlers or babies that would be crawling around on the floor. We would pick this condo again based on location & price. Read more
Thank you for the review!! We ALWAYS appreciate kind and constructive feedback. We will be forwarding this exact comment to the owner and he is very proactive in making upgrades. We did recently get a king mattress set because it used to be uncomfortable and I think he would be up for replacing the carpet AND living room furniture now that we can show that it is important to the guests!
Please come visit us again, and we will definitely be upgrading this unit soon to reflect these requests!!
