“Salmon fishing on the Moy”

Reviewed 31 May 2012

My friend Tim and I spent five nights at this beautiful location, set in peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Foxford. Proprietors, Joanne and David, are both keen anglers and were our fishing guides on each of our excursions to the river Moy in pursuit of the spring salmon. In the event, the salmon were uncooperative and we managed only one fish between us during our stay, but that's fishing for you. The food wad excellent and the full English breakfast Jo cooked for us every morning set us up for the rest of the day - the only drawback being that I put on several pounds during our stay. We will be returning. Ted Wilson

“friendly and easygoing.”

Reviewed 29 May 2012

Staying with David and Jo was very easy and uncomplicated, we could come and go as we wanted. If you choose to eat meals here you will eat well as Jo is a great cook. The garden is lovely and sitting outside - midges and weather permitting- is as good a place as any to relax! We'll be back very soon, put the kettle on! :D
