Enjoy a field of spring wildflowers and a yard with an array of roses and honeysuckle—-all from the porch of this wonderful home and cottage in the heart of town. Honeysuckle and Roses is a guesthouse found just four blocks south of Main Street. This wonderful home offers city convenience with a country atmosphere. Delight in the field from inside the home or out on the porch, and take a nature walk to Baron Creek, which borders the property.
The house is two bedrooms and one bath and invites living at it’s best. From the front porch the living room has a comfy arrangement for watching television/VCR or the gas log fireplace (instructions found in the house). An inviting kitchen is bound to produce gourmet meals. The kitchen is well equipped for groups of six to seven people. Adjacent to the kitchen is a formal dining room. An array of awesome antiques and painting are found throughout the house.
Two beautifully decorated bedrooms have queen and double beds. The bath has a shower. There is also a washer dryer for guesthouse. Between the house and the cottage is a wonderful deck for enjoying nature or just visiting.
Entering into the living room relish the rich green and mauve colors softened by a serene yellow used in the décor, or the hardwood floors found throughout this cozy home, or the wonderful antiques and magnificent paintings displayed throughout. The sofa (double sleeper) in the living room is perfect to viewing the spring wildflowers. A small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker is available for guests. An antique dining table is perfect for enjoying coffee while watching your favorite morning television show. The bedroom offers a double size bed placed to (also) relish the field of flowers in the spring. Adjacent is a bathroom with a shower.

It was a girls weekend for our 60th birthdays. We loved it immensely.
We'd like to return again soon. Fresh pastries on the porch each morning, great location, quiet. The home & guest house was impeccably taken care of & decorated.

Our stay at the Honeysuckle and Roses was awesome. The breakfast delivery each morning was unexpected but amazing. We will definately book this house again on our next trip to Fredericksburg. The bluebonnets were amazing this year!!!

What a charming place. Our stay was wonderful. We were surprised each morning with the most delicious pastries. I literally swooned at all the amazing G Harveys. We will definately stay at this wonderful home again.

The cottage is lovely and we felt very comfortable. The one bedroom cottage was perfect for my mother to have her own privacy. The location could not be better. Located on a quiet street yet close enough to walk to main street and the grocery store. The pastries were wonderful. We have a very enjoyable time. The kitchen is large (unusual for a small home) and well equipped. A great gathering point.
