Additional Location Information

An absolutely unique location with panorama view of the famous fjord of Roskilde. The garden host an ancient buriel mound offering the highest view point around the entire fjord, including a view to the large lake nearby. Next to the house is a listed meadow with horses in the summer, and offering a great snow slope for the winter time. The house has part in a private beach down the hill. Its a great and very safe area for watersports, fishing, swimming etc., and the house has two kayaks placed on the beach. The beach appear a bit rough, but offers a lovely sandy button and the water is clear and clean.
The area was popular to the vikings due to the rich fjord, and is part of the "Kings North Sealand" that includes the nearby Frederiksværk - a candidate to the UNESCO world heritage list due to its unique industrial heritage - industry, still active today.
Nearby you find an indoor public pool, golf courts, cinemas and many cultural sites.
Transport is easy! 5 minutes from the house is a small train station, "kregme", from where you can go anywhere, in the region. Great for daytrips int the region and just one hour from Copenhagen.
