I hope to welcome you to my new found home in Hvar, Croatia. For the majority of my life I have lived in America, mostly Washington State and California. However, I now call Hvar my home where I have found family, friends, community and peace of mind. After receiving my Croatian citizenship and residency, I have chosen to make a life here. I work, play and enjoy the beauty of the sea, the people and the seasonal food. My professional life has been made up of several careers from International teaching, accomplished artist, local barista/waitress and occasional tour guide. But the job I enjoy the most is harvest season with family, as we pick grapes for wine and olives for oil. Hvar is a place that can be appreciated year round. For me spring and fall are the best times in Hvar.

My mother's parents are from the islands of Hvar and Brac. I never dreamed I would be living in a place they left and never returned to. I can't really get my head around how I acquired this lovely apartment and how everything has unfolded for me here in creating a different type of lifestyle. All I know is that I am thankful and blessed everyday I walk in the door and look at the Adriatic Sea in front of me. This place (Croatia and my apartment) are gifts that bring me joy and peace of mind. I hope you too will experience the gifts that Croatia offers, if you so choose to holiday here.
