Our cottage was built in 2010 and has a beautiful view of the St.Jean River. Situated a 10 min walk from Douglastown beach (1km) and 10 min in car from Haldimand Beach, our cottage offers an ideal site to visit Gaspe. Not only is it situated close to the main beaches, but also it's 10 mins from downtown Gaspe, 30 mins from Perce and 40 mins from Forillon National Park.

Our mission with this cottage is simple: to offer you the best possible service in order to make your stay absolutely enjoyable. If ever you need something that we don't currently have at the cottage, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

« The Douglas » distinguishes itself by the level of comfort that we offer. The cottage has a « rustic » style but offers all the modern accommodations that you would expect with absolute tranquility.

Our cottage is 1272 sq. feet and can comfortably hold 6 people with one Queen bed, 2 single beds and a double pullout couch. We have 1 full bathroom on the main floor and a half-bath on the second floor, washer/dryer in the first floor bathroom. In the kitchen, you will find all of the amenities you can expect in a modern kitchen such as microwave, dish-washer, coffee maker, pots/pans, basic spices, utensils, plates, etc. Of course, the bed sheets, pillows and towels are also included.

Outside you'll find Adirondack style chairs to relax on after spending you days exploring our wonderful corner of the world. We also have an outdoor fireplace in order for you to make campfires; the firewood is also included. If you're coming for an ATV, you'll be happy to know that you can access the provincial trails directly from the cottage.

Enjoy salmon fishing?? Well you've come to the right place, we're situated 5 mins from the St.Jean river, 15 mins from the York and 25 mins from the Dartmouth river.

You will also be provided with free WIFI Internet along with cable TV.
