About us:
Tess is from Key West and Scott is from Kentucky. A love of economics (yes, really) brought us together in graduate school in Texas. Since graduating, we have taken faculty positions at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Why we chose to purchase this property:
Tess grew up on Boca Chica Key right on the ocean with a dock and a boat on her doorstep. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

The unique benefits this condo has offers:
While the condo is new, clean, bright, spacious, well appointed, and so on, it is the view that makes this spot a real gem. It is truly a spectacular sight. The flats below are full of life: speedy little ducks, seagulls, heron, egrets, pelicans, and even sharks cruise around the flats. Farther out, sailboats and fishing boats fill the skyline. And the southern exposure means that the sun is visible from the balcony virtually all hours of day leaving a sparkling trail on the water. In fact, when we were visiting recently we spent a lot of time on the balcony and noticed that between the distance from the sun to the horizon, the jet ski tours and sunset sails, and the varying exposure of the rocks in the flats below due to the rising and falling tide, you could tell the time of day without ever having to check your watch!
